Le Parnasse is a spacious, one bedroom, second floor apartment with lift access. It is light and airy and is well decorated. All the rooms lead off the main hallway. The large double bedroom and the sejour have parquet floors whilst the remainder of the apartment is tiled throughout. It is well equipped and comfortably furnished. In the sejour are two settees, one being a sofa bed. There is a dining table and seating for 4. French doors in both the sejour and the kitchen lead onto a large terrace.

Nearest Airport: Nice International at 10 Kilometres
Nearest Ferry: Nice at 3 Kilometres
Nearest Train: Nice at 1 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 2.0 Kilometres
Car: not necessary
The apartment is located in the central part of Nice, just off Boulevard Joseph Garnier, in an area where the French themselves prefer to live. There is an abundance of small shops, restaurants and bars which flourish alongside a vibrant , atmospheric street market ( open 6 days a week) where stall holders compete to sell fresh fruit, vegetables, other local produce and fish. The new Nice tramway, inaugurated in November 2007, runs close to the apartment, the nearest stop, Liberation, being about 200 metres away. Trams run every few minutes from early morning until past midnight and the main Place Massena on the edge of the Old Town is just 3 stops away. The main railway station is 10 minutes walk. There is a regular first class bus service ( at least 3 routes) nearby to all parts of Nice, including the airport. A car is not necessary

The kitchen is well equipped including electric toaster and kettle etc. There is a small kitchen table with seating for 2.There is plenty of storage space in the apartment, including a walk in cupboard in the hall. The location was fabulous, you felt you were really living in Nice, with the wonderful local market and cafes and restaurants - not touristland at all - yet really handy for the tram and hence all central facilities.
It was great to have an apartment with a proper bedroom, a proper kitchen and a proper bathroom, all very well and tastefully fitted out.
It was too hot during our stay to breakfast on the balcony, and although it would have been nice to sleep with the windows open, we kept them shut, because the only downside of this apartment is that the traffic noise outside is quite loud. The owners have thought of everything though - they even offer earplugs.
The sofabed for the third visitor looked fine, but we didn't try it out.
Given the degree of thought they have put into everything, and their friendly welcome, I am sure that their other apartments would also offer a delightful stay.
And if you aren't sure if you should be going to Nice - don't hesitate. A fabulous city, with fantastic public transport links to lots of other interesting places.

We had a tremendous time in Nice.The apartment was charming and had everything one needed. The location was great so near the tramway for exploring the city. The owners are so nice and helpful and we would love to thank them for alltheir kindness.

This apartment is in a really good location being 1 minutes walk from the main street and Tramway in central Nice. It provides everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Contact and information from the owners was excellent and they were available should you need to contact them. Links from the Airport to Central Station are really good and quick (15 mins). with a further 10 min stroll to the apartment, alternatively you could hop on the Tram for 3 mins. I would recommend this for anybody who likes the buzz of the City.
