The HAUT-DE-CAGNES:
Dominated the Grimaldi castle, the Haut-de-Cagnes is a medieval village which overlooks the Angels Bay and the Mediterranean. It is considered as the 'Montmartre of the Cote d' Azur' .It is the city of the artists, the painters and all creators. Renoir, Foujita, Soutine, Modigliani and so many others lived and worked here; but also Georges SIMENON. All of them have been fascinated by the light and the very special spirit of this area. Close to Saint-Paul and the Maeght foundation, Antibes and the Picasso Museum, Biot with Leger museum and Nice with the Matisse and Chagall museums, it is the right place where to stay for the ones interested in the arts and the major artist of our time.
It is also so close to the sea that it is ideal for all nautical activities and sailing. Only 15/20 minutes drive from the wild landscapes of the Col de Vence and the mountain it is at any time of the year the departure point of the most exciting hiking journeys.

The apartment is only 5 minutes walk from all the shops and facilities downtown.
There is a free shuttle operating all year long, from early morning till late at night, between the village and the town(bus station). There is a bus stop at 20 meters from the house.
The train station of CAGNES-Sur-MER is 10 minutes walk from the house.
There are several restaurants and bars nearby the house .
