Renovated in 2006, with new bathroom, kitchen, separate toilet room. The luxurious new kitchen boasts the latest in appliances with an induction cook top, dishwasher, large refrigerator and separate freezer with microwave. Free internet access and UK, CND, USA, AUST. land line Tel. The apartment faces both north onto an inner courtyard and south on Rue Verdi, so there is a cross-draft in summertime to keep you cool. There is a large dressing room. Ceilings are high and oak floors add a classy touch. The apartment is one floor above ground level and the Art Deco building, called 'Palais Mireille', has a lift. Only 5 blocks from the world-famous Negresco hotel and the Promenade des Anglais beachfront, this is the best neighbourhood in Nice. Walk from here down the Promenade des Anglais to get to Old Nice, or 4 blocks to the pedestrian zone with its animated nightlife. Restaurants, café-terraces, art galleries and all manner of shopping are close by. 10minutes walk to the train station.

The apartment is only a five minute walk to the beach. It is also only a few blocks from the Avenue Jean Medecin where you will have access to Nice's premier shopping centre, Nice Etoile, and the main shopping district, and the city centre. A grocery store, a pharmacy and a bakery for fresh croissants are just across the street. There are large supermarkets on Avenue Gambetta, only 3 blocks away. Strolling along the Promenade des Anglais to the Old City, you will enjoy its lively restaurants, bars and animated nightlife. On the way to the beach is rue de France, a typical French pedestrian street with many sidewalk cafés and restaurants. The train station is only 5 minutes away with direct service to whole French Riviera such as Cannes, Monaco and Antibes. No need for a car, everything is accessible on foot. Only 3 blocks away is a lovely park for sitting and strolling, on the intersection of Gambetta and Victor Hugo.

Credit card payment through PAYPAL is preferred but cheques will be accepted if received at least one month prior to arrival.
    Arrivals are at a nominated time after 5pm on Saturdays. It may be possible to arrange times outside of this in advance - but this cannot be guaranteed. Checkout is 10:00am the following Saturday. A security/damage deposit of 300 euros is payable one month before arrival. This will be returned directly to your home within two weeks of departure. Your apartment will be cleaned for you on your arrival.

  • The Shower room is all new with washer-dryer, granite counter-top over built-in cupboards. The circular glass shower is surrounded by sparkling white tiles with grey accents, done in the latest 2006 fashion. Everything in the apartment is brand new and luxurious.

  • There is a luxury sofa bed in the living room for two people. Just a quick pull on the center loop and the bed folds out, with a real luxury mattress for sleeping on every day. Another quick push and the bed folds up, for you to enjoy the living room sofa with two armchairs, TV and stereo set and CD player. Another four chairs grace the dining room table in one corner near a giant palladian-window style mirror. The Master bedroom with a large double bed is tastefully painted in pastel green and has a double door-window leading onto a small balcony giving onto a quiet courtyard. An antique desk with a banker's lamp is in one corner, near a marble fireplace. Oak parquet flooring adds warmth to the room. There is a fireplace in the bedroom. The other bedroom is painted a sunny yellow, has two single beds and a two seater couch with a bookcase, cupboard, a set of drawers and its own balcony. Moreover, there is a 8m² dressing room with a fold-up bed to sleep a 7th person if needed.
