A lovely 1 bedroom apartment in a fantastic location. Only a minute's stroll from the harbour of Nice, and all local amenities. Beaches and the Old Town are just a 10 minute walk away. A south/west facing apartment in a building with a lift. Well equipped and in good state of repair. The living-room is equipped with a good quality double sofa-bed and opens onto a small balcony, the kitchen is separate, modern and fully equipped (including a washing-machine, oven, hob, micro-wave...), the bedroom is spacious and also opens onto a balcony.

Our apartment is located in the very picturesque harbour of Nice 10 minutes walk from the lively Old Town, the Promenade des Anglais, the Museum of Modern Art, the Chateau and the parks and beaches. You will find yourself spoilt for choice when looking for restaurants or cafes in the streets around us. Our local bakeries, green grocers, wine shops, delicatessens and butchers, are friendly and happy to help and advise you about the best combinations of food and drink. You can easily explore further afield, even without a car as buses and taxis stop at the port, and the main coach and train stations are just a short walk from us. You can get to Cannes and Monaco in 30 to 45 minutes by train and have lunch in Italy in an hour or overlooking the ski slopes in the mountains just 30mins drive away. Ferries leave the port several times a day for Corsica, Sardinia, St Tropez or the 'Iles de Lerins' (two islands just off Cannes) and fares are reasonable.

Notes: Long term tenants interest me between September and June. I do, however, need the apartment to be free during the summer months, for holiday rentals.

This apartment was ideal for us (2 adults) its was very clean and towles and linen were provided. It was very near the port which was the last stop on the No. 98 bus from the airport and about a 5 minute walk away. There was a big supermarket right around the corner also.

The Nice Riquier train station was only a 10 min walk away which we were able to get the train to Cannes or Monaco in under an hour, its only a small train station whereas the main train station is about an hour walk away so be aware of this little station :)

I would recommend this apartment no problem and a stroll by the port with all the yachts is amazing each morning to see the new yachts that have sailed in. The beach is under a 10 min walk away also.

This apartment made our first stay in Nice very good :)
