This newly renovated apartment is beautifully finished, with all new appliances in the kitchen including built in fridge with freezer compartment, hobs, microwave, kettle, toaster and built in washing machine. It has a terrace area with table and chairs which looks out onto a lovely well kept private courtyard. All furnishings are very modern in keeping with the look of this plush pad. There is a beautiful leather sofa and dining table and chairs in the reception room, which leads you to the very modern steel staircase up to the bedroom and bathroom which is on a mezzanine level. The size of this 1 bedroom apartment is 30sq m and it accommodates up to 3 people. The outside of the building has been renovated to the original Nicoise style and has beautiful Traditional French shutters. The entrance, stairwell and hallways have original artwork which has been fully restored by hand. Excellent location, under 5 minutes walk to the famous Negresco Hotel.

Nice is fantastic seaside City visited by tourists from all over the World. Attractions include the Cours Saleya flower Market which operates 6 days a week, or the Matisse Museum. Make sure to visit Old Nice beside the Port and its narrow streets are always bustling with activity. Sit down at one of the many restaurants and bars and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. No trip to Nice is complete without a stroll down the Promenade des Anglais where you can join the many joggers, rollerbladers or just sit and admire the wonderful views out onto the Riveria. Make sure to walk along Rue de France Pedestrian Zone which is a hub of activity where shops, bars bookshops and souvenirs can all be found. The picture doesn’t do it justice! The apartment was larger than I expected, and couldn’t get much cleaner.
We stopped for three nights and comparing the cost to a rather expensive B&B's in Nice this was a real bargain.

I was slightly concerned that it would be a little out of the way as its at the opposite end of the promenade than the old town, I need not have worried, there are lots of restaurants within a couple of min and we were 10/15 min walk from the old town or a 30sec walk from the bus stops. And being that little bit further away meant we were away from the noise of bars and traffic.

I would definitely recommend it!

Very nice and comfortable holiday home

We had a nice time living in this apartment for two weeks.
We enjoyed it very much last year and booked it once more
this year. Most things which can be needed for preparing meals are available, bakery for breakfast towards the street.
We enjoyed our brakfast every morning on the little balcony
in the nice greened courtyard. Ideal place for two persons.
All places of interest accessible on foot, bus stops only few minutes and railway station 15 minutes by foot.
A very quiet and restful place in a nice, old but carefully restaured house.
Good shopping facilities. One of my favourite museums
in Nice is the -Museede Beaux Arts- with such a fine contemplative atmosphere near by the apartment
only few steps away.
If we decide to visit Nice again we will book it once more.

Apartment in Central Nice

A well situated apartment which gives a unique flavour of France by its inner courtyard location and accompanying balcony .
It was clean, well maintained and contained all the necessary features - fridge, cooker, t.v., dvd player, washer, etc. to make the stay more enjoyable.
It's central location meant easy access to the promenade, Rue de France (excellent dining) and shops.
There is an excellent bus service close by and we found that we were even able to get an airport bus from the nearby promenade.
There are some wonderful attractions that are worth your time, the Old Town, the Ancient Chateau, the port, Phoenix Park, as well as art galleries and cinemas. It is easy to reach these places by bus if you do not wish to walk and all the fares are just one euro. In fact, that price is applicable to bus fares to nearby Monaco!

I highly recommend this apartment and its environment.

Romantic getaway, many delights on your doorstep

Fantastic building with old french decor and a quiet middle courtyard in which to sit. The apartment itself was finished in modern vibrant colours was extremely clean and fitted the discription well. The bedroom space had a romantic "loft" feel to it and was very comfortable. There was no traffic noise.
A nice touch, were the dvd's and flat screen telly left for weary sightseers after a long full day. Although we didn't have any problems with the apartment on our stay, we felt we were taken care of should any arise.

The apartment is located 100 meters walk from the promanade and beach. It is just off Rue de France where we found many shops, bars and excellent restaurants. There are many markets to explore nearby, and also the old town, which has an amazing atmosphere. The train station is walking distance and the short train rides to Monaco, St Tropez and Cannes should be taken advantage of.

Overall, a great location for exploration of the the area, a gorgeous quiet haven to return to each night and somewhere we shall most definitely return to.

Compact,clean,freshly decorated + furnished apartment in quiet courtyard-traffic/street noise can be a problem in Nice.Ideal for 2 people but mezzanine floor + metal staircase would not be to everyones taste.Agents very helpful. A few mins from Prom + bus stops with frequent links including night buses to airport,rail + bus stations, town centre + Old Town. 1euro fares to anywhere in city and wider area eg Menton,Ez,Antibes. Despite exchange rate eating out is good value for the quality,try fixed price menus (often local +seasonal produce) + house wines especially in more expensive places.Rue Massina area is not best place to eat,try Old Town, + some places on Prom reasonibly priced.
