Location, location, location! Welcome to our charming apartment in the heart of the historic old town of Nice, just 20 minutes from Nice airport by bus or 10 mins by taxi. Freshly baked croissants and bread, the finest home-made pasta, an inspiring selection of olives, cheese and wines, pavement cafes, bars and the best ice-cream in Nice are all on your doorstep.The beach, the flower market and over 40 restaurants are within 3 minutes walk. Jump on a local bus or train for visits to Antibes, Cannes, Monte Carlo and places in between. The apartment has 42 square metres of space and is ideal for 2 people, although it can sleep 4. Full of character and charm, the apartment has a lovely, fully equipped kitchen/dining room with a sofa bed, sitting room and shower room. The bedroom has traditional oak beams and a double bed. You could not be better located to fully experience the incredibly vibrant old town of Nice. Open the shutters, let in the sun and watch life pass by on Rue Rossetti.

Our charming apartment is situated on the famous Rue Rossetti, about 25m from the historic Place Rossetti in the heart of the Old Town of Nice. Getting to the apartment is easy and, on booking, we will send you clear instructions including a local map. The old town is pedestrianized but the apartment is only 3-4 minutes walk from several drop-off points. The surrounding squares and narrow streets are filled with delightful boutique shops selling everything from local crafts to fine cheeses and wines. There are numerous great restaurants serving international cuisine as well as 'Specialties Nicoise'. As well as the many museums and art galleries within Nice itself, the old town is close to bus and train stations for day visits to Antibes, Cannes, Monoco and Grasse, the 'perfume capital of the world'. Ferries from Nice Port are a delightful way to visit the Mediterranean coast, St. Tropez, Monaco, San Remo and Corsica.

  • The rental charges are all inclusive and there are no additional charges. Rental includes being met on your arrival at the apartment by our agent, bed linen, bathroom towels, electricity and also cleaning at the end of your stay. Our agent is on-hand throughout your stay should you need any assistance.
  • Booking is easy. To secure your booking, a deposit of £100 (Euros 150) for each week of your stay is required. The remaining balance is then payable 4 weeks before departure. For those clients booking at short notice, full payment is required.

Notes: Characteristic of properties in the old town, the access to the apartment is via nine steps. These would prove difficult for wheelchairs or the infirm. The apartment is equipped with electric radiators for the cooler winter months and electric tower fans for the summer months. There is great internet access at the 'Vieux Cyber' internet cafe just below the apartment. This offers excellent rates, has English keyboards and is open 10.00 - 21.00 during the week and until midnight at weekends.

Further details for apartment 4 Rue Rossetti, Nice: We acquired our charming apartment in February 2007 and have equipped it with new kitchen-ware (including iron and ironing board), bedroom and lounge furniture including an LCD screen with CD and DVD player. The apartment was already much sought-after for holiday rentals with its previous owner. We have already received highly complementary feedback from our guests to-date (see guest book) - but would be very grateful for more! In the summer months Old town Nice is a 24 hour vibrant place and is not the place for an early night!. However, if you're a fan of pavement cafes, bars and restaurants and enjoy street entertainers and fantastic live music then old Nice is definitely for you!

My family traveled to Nice the last week of May '09 and stayed at this lovely apartment. It was so charming it was the highlight of our entire trip to France. The location was amazing, just a couple of steps out the door to many cafes, restaurants, the beach, shopping, the bus station, everything. The apartment was well appointed. My family of 4 was very comfortable there. The owners have thought of everything, they have places to visit, bus schedules, everything! The bed was comfortable, we took hot showers, and the kitchen was well stocked. You can hang out the window and watch as people stroll through the old town. This apartment made our vacation a wonderful getaway for our family, I would recommend it to anyone.

A centrally-located traditionally French Apartment

Couldn't be better located for those who really want to experience the vibrant life and culture of Nice! We felt like "locals" after a week there! Just step out of the door and you are right into the narrow, historic streets of the Old Town, with all they have to offer. We would certainly like to return.

A fantastic apartment in the heart of Nice

The apartment was fantastic, the location was perfect right in the heart of the old town. All the arrangments and instructions on how to get to the apartment were very easy to follow and Mike was on hand to meet and greet us, we both loved it and had a great time. Neither of us are cooks but we brought a cook book with us, bought local produce and cooked in, which was an experience but added to the holiday. We spent every day taking long walks to all arts and parts, but at the end of each day we always enjoyed returning to the apartment.
The apartment was very comfortable, cosy and well maintained.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the apartment and we both hope to return again some day.

Fabulous apartment for a fabulous weekend away

This was our second visit to Nice having spent our first time in a rather disappointing hotel. Well what can we say.... absolutely great!! This lovely apartment is so well equipped and slap bang right in the thick of things with all the hussle and bussle of Nice on your doorstep. The beach and bus station both within a few minutes' walk really make this the perfect location especially as we were only staying a short time. The apartment is so cosy we wish we had been staying longer. It was lovely to wake up in the morning, open the windows and shutters, and have coffee and croissants while watching and listening to life in Nice revving up for the day.
The booking process was straight forward and Angela was very friendly as was Mike who met us on arrival and showed us around.
All in all, a perfect way to spend our 24th wedding anniversary. We would definitely return!

A wonderful apartment

The apartment was exactly as described on the website and was everything that we had hoped for. The location is excellent with literally everything that you could need on your doorstep. You really are in the heart of the action with so many lovely restaurants and bars to choose from. The beach is literally a 5 minute walk away.
We really appreciated the information folder that helped us plan out our holiday.
The apartment is very well equipped, clean and cosy. Everything has been thought of to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We made use of the excellent selection of DVDs on the nights that we stayed in. I would definitely recommend this apartment.
