Located in the heart of Old Nice, a beautifully renovated apartment with traditional red-tiled flooring, high-corniced ceiling with 17th century pannelling, huge windows provide light everywhere. Bourgeois in style with original wall panels and plenty of space to relax after a day at the beach, museums or shops. For sun worshippers the apartment is only a km (flat 5 minute walk) from the Promenade des Anglais and its sun drenched beaches and sporting activities. Close to Nice's main shopping areas the apartment is a few minutes’ walk to an abundance of great cafes and restaurants up and down the pedestrian streets of the old town. Here you will find designer shops, art galleries, fabulous ice cream shops and wine caves. Nice's central train station offers fast and reliable services across the whole south coast with easy access to Monaco / Italy / Cannes and Antibes. The new tram line is less than 2 minutes from the apartment.

Nice is a great location and base to explore the whole Cote D'Azur and it's many attractions. The local rail network makes getting to towns such as Cannes / Antibes / Grasse and Monaco so easy. Even a trip to the local Italian markets is less than an hour by train. Those with their own transport can visit and explore local hill top villages, glass factories, potteries and vine yards. Nearby there are art galleries and museums (Musee Matisse, Musee des Beaux Arts, Musee d'Art Moderne et Contemporain). There is a wide range of annual events in and around ranging from the international Cannes Film Festival to Nice Carnival, to Top Marques supercar show.

Cannes Festivals / Local Trade events / Shows: This apartment is a great location if you are attending any of the Cannes festivals or trade shows such as MIPCOM, Tax Free etc.

Skiing: An ideal base for day trips to the local ski station (Isola 2000) with it's season from early Dec to late March. Isola 2000 is only 75minutes by car or take the Ski Bus from central Nice.

Monaco’s Grand Prix: Save money by staying in Nice whilst attending the Grand Prix or Rally events in Monaco. Let the train take the strain.

Other Activities: Nice offers almost every leisure activity - please ask if you have a special request.

We have just come back from Nice, the apartment was as described,clean,comfortable,great location and very nice. The comunication was excellent from Gordon and sharron also the girl that met us with the key. We had three children in our party and we could not have chosen a better place to stay. My only niggle would be as it was so hot we could definately have done with air conditioning. Also as it is such a good location expect some noise at night as the French do not seem to go to bed at all! I am not a good sleeper and bought some ear plugs for 1 euro problem solved.The rest of the family didn't seem to have a problem, just me.
When in Nice We easily got around having the bus station 2 minutes walk away. The tram 1minute away which takes you to the main train station. We went by bus no 81 to St-Jean-Cap-Ferret last stop 40 minutes by bus. This is a great place for nice beaches. We also went to Monaco by train twice, as we liked it there very much.
Sunday clothes shops not open.
