Looking for a romantic holiday in a wonderful two bedroomed apartment located in an Art Deco building? The building is situated in a very tranquil, leafy area in Nice near the Port. You can relax having a meal on the balcony, or simply watch the sun go down as you gaze out to sea. The view is spectacular in the evening as well with the lights from Nice twinkling in all directions. The apartment is on the third floor of an elevator building and will comfortably accommodate 4. A folding door opens from one of the bedrooms to enlarge the living room. The beautiful Italian kitchen is newly installed and fully equipped. The building is well maintained with a concierge in residence. It is only a short walk to Coco Beach - a favourite of the locals. The Port of Nice is a five minute walk away. The Promenade des Anglais and the Old Town of Nice with its famous antique and flower markets are approximately fifteen minutes walk. Street car parking is available.

The apartment is located in a very tranquil residential area in Nice, yet everything from the beach to good restaurants, the market and shops are within easy walking distance. Public transport is frequent and nearby. At the front of the building on Boulevard Carnot you can catch a bus for a very scenic ride to Villefranche, Eze sur Mer and Monaco. The train station (Riquier) is a 20 minute walk away. The local beach is very near but if you prefer to venture further, you can take a very pleasant walk to the Promenade des Anglais and be swimming in the Baie des Anges in 20 minutes. There are a range of activities from sailing to diving for the sea lover but if you choose to come in the winter, skiing is available within a 2 hour drive. If you're looking for culture there is a modern art gallery in Nice along with Musees de Chagall and de Matisse. The jazz festival in July is a very exciting occasion with lots of international artists performing.

This is an Art Deco building. All the ceilings are high which lends itself to a a great feeling of spaciousness in the apartment. We have chosen items of furniture and fittings which hopefully complement this style. We are so excited by the style and aspect of this apartment and just love staying there and we hope you will too. The bathroom is traditional but adequate. The kitchen is superb and the view is incomparable both day and night, whatever the weather. There is nothing more relaxing than sitting on that terrace simply looking out to sea or watching the activities of the birds flocking in the evening as the sun sets.

The reason we have specified that children are not allowed is just that although we love to have children to stay in our apartment, the balcony is made of wrought iron with gaps and spaces and I would feel anxious that it might not be very safe for a very active small child but older children should be absolutely fine.
