This attractive, modern, fully equipped, first floor apartment overlooks the sea and is situated in Mont Boron, the most desirable area of Nice. Sleeps up to four people with two single beds in one room and a double pull-out bed in the living room. Bathroom with bath and shower, kitchen ‘americaine’ with fridge, small oven, hob and dishwasher. Laundry room on the ground floor has coin operated washing machine and tumble dryer. The large balcony (with table, 4 chairs, 2 deckchairs) has a stunning panoramic view over the Mediterranean right round to the mountains and has a sunblind for welcome shade in summer. Superb night view with the floodlit chateau hill, boats in the harbour and the lights of the Promenade. There is a swimming pool and children’s paddling pool. A delightful garden area to the side has mature shrubs/palms which thrive in the mild climate. There is secure entry to the building, a lift and parking in the private garage. Caretaker on site

The flat is tucked behind the harbour with its many restaurants and is within walking distance of the old town, chateau hill, market and Promenade des Anglais. Nearest beach (great snorkeling) just 5 minutes away. Frequent buses outside the flat take you to charming Villefranche, Cap Ferrat, Monaco, Monte Carlo or Menton. Buses at the end of the road to all areas of Nice or 10 -15 minutes walk to Riquier train station for trains to nearby Italian towns Ventimiglia, San Remo or to visit Marseille. Or walk to the bus station where buses will transport you to the charming villages of the interior such as Grasse (perfume factories), Vence (Matisse chapel) etc. Alternatively take a short bus or train trip to Cannes for boat trips to the Iles de Lerins to see the cell occupied by the Man in the Iron Mask or walk along La Croisette for celebrity spotting. In Antibes, wander the streets of the old town, visit the Picasso museum or Marineland. You'll never be short of things to do in Nice

Notes: Towels and sheets are not provided but can be hired for an additional charge of 15 euros per week per person, payable on arrival. There is a small library of tourist guides, novels and biographies in English and a collection of tourist literature: maps, leaflets etc. A combined radio/CD/cassette player is available with a small collection of CD and cassettes. The apartment will be cleaned for you before arrival. Additional cleaning can be arranged for extra payment. An iron and ironing board are supplied and also a hairdryer. There is a large electric fan to cool the air in summer. The large balcony has a table & four chairs, two deckchairs, and is equipped with a retractable sun blind for shade in summer. The pool is one floor below and accessed either by stairs or lift to the floor below. There are two sunbeds at the pool belonging to the flat. Le Baccarat foyer has welcoming sofas. To the side of the building is a garden area.

This apartment was an amazing find! A group of us (all females, aged late 20's-early 30's) spent 3 nights here at the end of Sep 09. The apartment was very comfortable and the balcony was large enough for us all to sit, eat, drink and enjoy the amazing view over Nice. In fact, we spent a whole afternoon doing this...very relaxing. The location is perfect - you are away from the main town, but less than a 5min stroll down to the Port (catch a bus here into the main bus & train staton) and approx. 20mins into the Old Town (the walk is worth it). Supermarket was very close by and bus stop outside the apartment. We spent an afternoon in Ventimiglia using a 12Euros all day train pass, which we then used later in the evening to take us into Monaco for the evening. Elaine, the owner, is more than helpful when booking - and provides very detailed information so you can make the most of your stay - we didn't go anywhere without this! I wouldn't hesitate staying here again and have recommended it to all I know. Where else can you stay in Nice (the apartment felt like home) for such a reasonable price?!

Recent holiday in Nice

What a great spot of luck to have such a fantastic location for a long weekend visit to Nice and surrounding areas. The weather was great for walking through the old streets in town, the bus stop outside our door with easy access to Cannes and Monte Carlo for only one euro and restaurants too numerous to mention. Having the use of the pool for relaxation in the evening was fantastic. The apartment is very well equipped with all crockery and knick knacks as you would have at your finger tips at home. Then throw in the lovely green grocers and the selection of pattiserie's and we were in our element. Having a nice cool beer or glass of wine while relaxing on the balcony was the routine each evening. The view is a picture postcard, over looking the beautiful port with the airport on the horizon. The Hop on Hop off bus was a great help as I'm a lazy tourist and like the idea of being shown around - there is also a tourist train which goes along the prom every day. So overall definately a place to re-visit in the future. Thanks again for such a lovely experience.

This apartment has everything - including a dish washer! Place was thoroughly cleaned and well maintained.

Outstanding view over the Port and Bay d'Anges. Magnificent sunsets and stunning scenery.

Top location with a bus stop right outside the apartment. Handy for everywhere - Nice, Grasse, Menton, Venice. Public transport is second to none and very cheap- especially the seven-day Ligne d'Azur ticket which takes you all over Nice and local areas for 15 euros. Use it on buses and trams.

Owner provided everything you could wish to know and was extremely helpful. Apartment is loaded with ideas of places to visit and how to get there.

We would recommend Le Baccarat to anyone. We had friends stay with us and there was plenty of room for 4 adults. We stayed for 2 weeks and it wasn't nearly long enough.

The Balcony is roomy and has deckchairs and patio furniture - perfect for sitting out.

We will come back to Nice and would not stay anywhere else.

Nice apartment with fantastic view

We had a great stay in this apartment , it is in the location of Mont Boron and has a gorgeous view overlooking nice. Good location with easy access into nice.
Fantastic holiday would highly recommend!!!
