The apartment is situated in probably the nicest and most picturesque little town on the Cote D' azur. There are panoramic sea and mountain views from the terrace of the apartment and it is less than a 5 minute walk to the small fishing port and marinas, where there are a large selection of top quality restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets, or alternatively you can dine in the apartment or on the terrace. There are several beautiful sandy beaches within a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Explore the narrow cobbled stone streets of the medieval old town and Citadel (castle) which date back to 130 bc where some of the streets have changed little in the last 500 years. Nice and Monaco are a 15 minute drive respectively from Villefranche. ( There is a lift in the building )

Notes: The bedroom area has two single beds a large all purpose wardrobe bed-side tables etc and is separated from the main apartment by a sliding glass door system, which can be opened to create an open plan styled apartment. In the living area there is a large bed sofa, which converts into a very comfortable double bed. There is a top quality fully fitted kitchen ideal for cooking and dining either in the apartment or on the terrace. There is a lift in the building. The apartment is on the 4th floor and has a superb view across the bay to Cap-Ferrat the hills behind and the old town below. The apartment has Air- conditioning and a large ceiling fan in the kitchen area. (There is no smoking allowed inside the apartment)

There are a range of shops within 5 minutes walk of the apartment including Supermarkets-Butcher-Chemist- Newsagents- Bakery- fruit etc. There is a regular bus service which travels along the very scenic coast road between Nice and Menton which is very near the Italian border,and stops in the main street of Villefranche.There is also a train station approx 6-7 minutes walk from the apartment from where you can travel up and down the Riviera stopping at places like Eze -Monaco -Nice - Antibes - Cannes etc.

The descripsjon was very reliable.
The flat was properly cleaned.
The owners customers service is perfect
Of course I can recommend the appartement to my friends
The view from the flat is excellent, and the appartement lies near the Villefranche center, with many restaurants, near beaches and near to a communication center (l'Octroi), where you can obtaine busses to allmost every attraction at the french riviera in Provence.

Villefranche is a great base for a holiday to the Cote D'Azur, away from the more touristy areas of Nice and Monaco, the town is compact and friendly and within easy reach of the bigger neighbouring towns by bus and train.
This apartment was just right for us, just minutes walk from the beach, restaurants, bars and transport of the village and most importantly not located too far uphill which can be very draining in the summer sun!
The views of the bay from the balcony are stunning, and the apartment itself is clean and well maintained with everything you might require for your stay provided. The owner and property manager are helpful and friendly and we would happily reccomend it to any of our friends or family in the future.
My only wish for this property would be a slightly bigger shower, which is on the snug side, and for maximum comfort would reccomend no more than 2 persons sharing.
In all a very enjoyable experience and we look forward to returning again in the future.

i feel the property owner genuinely tries to make the experience enjoyable for his guests. It is well-maintained and improvements are regular. the location and view are are absolutely wonderful. close to the train station, the beach, local stores, restaurants, and markets. we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment.

The descripton was acurate regarding location view facilities etc. The property was clean and well maintained although the communal staircase was rather drab and in need of redecoration. We would recommend this property to friends because of its ideal location both within the small town of Villefranche and the ease of getting around to other locations on the Cote D'Azure using public transport. It was wonderful to be car free for a change. We feel that the apartment is ideal for a couple but rather too small for 4 adults. There was a range of good restaurants on the sea front and also plenty of more economical ones within the town itself. All in all a very good holiday base.

Villefranche is a favourite place that my wife and I love to visit. We have stayed in this particular apartment on two different occasions and have really enjoyed the many advantages. The accommodation is very comfortable with outstanding views from the balcony across the bay to Cap Ferrat. Local amenities are literally on the door step. Shops, restaurants, the harbour, beach, tourist information office and train station are all a short walk away. We particularly enjoy using the bus service which can be accessed nearby, is incredible value and covers the Cote d'Azur direct to Menton with connections from Nice extending along the coast and inland to Provence. We would recommend the accommodation and look forward to our next visit.
