Tucked between the mythical seaside resorts of Cannes and Nice, in the hillside village of Opio,this provençale stone house offers a peaceful and luxurious setting in very private landscaped gardens and beautiful views over rolling hills and out to the Italian alps from the front garden.The heated pool allows for use between March and November.We are a 10 minute walk from the village of Opio,which is only 20 minutes from the sea,half an hour from Nice/Cannes, an hour from Italy, 45' from Monaco on the spectacular coast road, the Moyenne Corniche, made famous in the James Bond movies will lead you to the casinos, and 1.5 hours from ski station at 2000m.The Golf de la Begude and Valbonne are a 5 minute drive. There are numerous excursions to do in the area,with sports such as swimming, walking, golf, museums, hand gliding, needless to mention tasting the exception cuisine of the several gastronomical restaurants in the area. Skiing in winter is a half and hour away in Greolieres.

Located in the rolling hills of provence between Cannes and Nice,Opio is a charming provençal village.For walkers and lovers of nature, the mountain scenery, and medieval villages will delight you.Fabulous restaurants can be found in all the small villages nearby. The house is about 165 sq meters and is set on 5000 sq meters of landscaped property. The huge oak tree on the terrace maintains a lovely temperature in the house and the outdoor dining area and over the 100 sq meter terrace. It is very private and the environment is very calm and you walk and cycle on the little country lane in front of the house for miles. There are 3 bedrooms all with ensuite bath of shower rooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed. Bedroom 2 has a double bed and bedroom 3 has two twins. Two bedrooms have access out to the garden and swimming pool. The kitchen and appliances are all new, with granite counter tops. Porecelain and crystal is supplied for your use. Large living area baby grand piano.

The area offers limitless sightseeing and interest, and was home to many artists from Chagal to Renoir and Picasso whose homes are now museums. On the coast, choose from miles of beaches, relax in one of the elegant open-air cafes or restaurants, or have fun shopping in Cannes or Nice. For walkers and lovers of nature, the mountain scenery, and medieval villages will delight you. Fabulous restaurants can be found in all the small villages nearby. A 5 minute drive from the house will take you to Le Clos St.Pierre one of the best restaurants in the area which has a Michelin star. Also 5 minutes away is the Golf de la Begude, one of the nicest in the area.
