This 17th century Olive farm, one of only three in Valbonne area, has been lovingly restored and tastefully decorated. Set in absolute peace and tranquility amongst 250 olive trees. These are spread over stone terraces where you can also find wild thyme beds, fig, cherry, plum, orange and lemon trees, which you are free to sample. There are no neighbours looking onto the property the nearest being 200 hundred yards away.The whole property is surrounded by secure mesh fence and accessed by a gate with a security code. There are two properties that can be rented together or separately. The Mas being the original farm house and/or the Bergerie, adjoined to the Mas and modernised to let in abundant light. The owners house is adjacent to the rental properties and although nearby there is ample space and privacy.

The original of three farmhouses left in Valbonne. This was originally an Olive farm dating from the 17th century. The kitchen entrance on the ground floor is shrouded by age old grape vines along from the animal drinking font shaded under two mature lime trees. You can dine under the Olive trees and enjoy the peace and solitude that this property offers. It sleeps a total of 5 people.

From shopping in Cannes or Monaco, beaches in Antibes, to walking in the forests or playing golf on our door step. There is a 9 hole golf course around the corner and less than 10 minutes away from some of the best Golf courses the Cote D'Azur has to offer. Valbonne has a multitude of restaurants to choose from, set around a medieval square. While behind Valbonne there are even more medieval hilltop villages such asTourettes sur Loup, Gourdon or St Paul de Vence to explore as well as the Gorges sur Loup. A great place to escape the busy coast and take a cool dip in the river. From all these locations you get a fantastic view of the coast.

  • The bathroom is located on the landing, it had a shower enclosure with glass doors, bidet and toilet, large mirror and storage features. Plenty of hanging space for towels.

  • The master bedroom has of a king size bed and the ceiling has bare open wooden beams and located on the top floor. The bathroom is also located on this level and is accessed from the landing. On the landing there is a single iron sofa bed which is standard size. The second bedroom is located on the floor below which has the lounge area adjoining it. This bedroom has 2 single beds.

Notes: There are three levels to The Mas. The lowest level is at ground level and access is independent to the rest of the mas. The kitchen and its private outside eating area is located at this level. This area is set among olive trees. Access to the main level of the Mas is by outside stone steps. These steps lead to the main entrance. At this middle level is the lounge room and the first bedroom with two single beds. Up a winding stairway leads to the top level and the landing with iron single sofa bed, the bathroom and master bedroom. The swimming pool is shared with the other rental property (The Bergerie) and the owners. The area is private with comfortable loungers for use and is securely fenced with child proof gates. The owners have a very friendly golden retriever who loves extra attention and is especially gentle with small children. Previous guests sing their praises. There is a cot and high chair for use if necessary.

Golf: Victoria Golf course is a nine hole course that is 2 minutes from the house. Within 20 minutes there is the Royal Mougin, Opio Valbonne, Grande Bastide at Opio, St Donat. Within 30 minutes there is the Grasse Golf course. Within 60 minutes San Remo Golf course. Plenty to choose from

Skiing: Auron and Isola 2000 are a very convenient 1 hour and 45 minutes away, depending upon the traffic. 45 minutes will take you to Greolieres where there are a few down hill runs but better for cross country skiiing and walking.

Walking tracks and Points of Interest.: The property adjoins a Natural Forest Reserve which provides some great walking trails. You can walk to Valbonne following a river trail (1hr 15 min) or to Biot (2.5 Hours) or simply short ring routes for jogging or ambling. The river is a 45 min walk from the property and very pretty. Equally accessible is the Valmasque Region, a short drive away which offers a lot of trails. The Gorge du Loup is 30 min drive and offers crystal clear cool waters for swimming and a great spot for a picnic away from the summers busy coastal beaches. In general the property is only 10 minutes from the A8 motorway, 20 min to Nice airport, Antibes and Cannes which makes its location so easily accessible. The village of Valbonne is 5 minutes drive and has an array of restaurants and shops. There is a local provencal market each Friday morning in the village which is vibrant and buzzing with activity.

Hallo das ist wirklich ein wunderschönes Ferienziel - noch viel schöner, als wir es uns nach der Beschreibung vorgestellt hatten. Das Häuschen liegt wunderschön im Olivenhain. Die Vermieterin - Jo - wohnt im gegnüberliegenden Haus mit ihrer Familie. Sie ist supernett und sehr hilfsbereit wenn es um Ausflugsziele oder ähnliches geht. Wir würden uns freuen, dort wieder Urlaub zu machen!
