La Pleiade is a newly constructed luxury apartment building finished in November 2006. It is ideally located, just two minutes walk from the main town square – Place du General de Gaulle. The apartments benefit from double glazing and security blinds. They are tastefully furnished and well decorated and have modern fitted kitchens. The historic Old Town of Antibes, Port Vauban and the beaches are a leisurely ten minutes walk away. Less than fifteen minutes by foot from La Pleiade is the resort of Juan les Pins and within two minutes is the well stocked local supermarket and boulangerie. As the stop for the main bus route from Cannes to Nice is less than five minutes walk from the apartments, with the train station a ten minute walk, access to public transport is straightforward and easy. This modern apartment completed in the autumn of 2006 , is located on the first floor of La Pleiade. It is tastefully furnished throughout and benefits from double glazing. The kitchen is well equipped with a washing machine, oven with hob, microwave and a fridge freezer. There is a sofa in the lounge and a TV which receives English channels and a DVD player. In the bedroom there are two single beds, fitted wardrobes and bedside drawers. The small private balcony has a table and chairs and exterior lighting. La Pleiade is perfectly situated for a short stroll into the Old Town of Antibes, the sandy beaches, bars, restaurants and the magnificent marina of Port Vauban. Juan Les Pins renowned for its beaches, restaurants and lively nightlife is a comfortable 10 to 15 minutes walk from the apartment. Secure underground car parking on site suitable for a small to medium size car. Smoking is not allowed.

Antibes is set in the heart of the popular French Riviera between Nice and Cannes. Dating back over 2500 years, the Old Town is rich in history and culture influenced by the Greeks and the Romans who had settled here. A gentle stroll through the maze of narrow streets and alleys of the Old Town, rewards the visitor with a cornucopia of colour, aromas and tastes to delight the senses. With the wide range of boutiques and the provencal market all offering local produce and crafts, there is something to tempt everyone. As Antibes is so well situated it is easy to visit well known places such as Cannes, famous for the Film Festival, designer shops, the port and the Old Town as well as the popular city of Nice. Monte Carlo, Cap Ferrat and Italy are also within easy reach by using the excellent public transport which is both cheap and reliable. A splendid way to visit the charming town of St. Tropez is to take a boat ride from Juan Les Pins or Cannes.

Ski: The nearest ski resort is Auron. About one and a half hours from Nice. There is a bus service from Antibes.

Golf: Within a 30 to 40 minute drive from Antibes there is an excellent selection of well maintained golf courses to be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities. Designed by names such as R. Trent Jones Snr & Jnr, Dave Thomas and Peter Allis, C. Robinson and Jean Pascal Foures, some of the courses in this area are the best in France, if not Europe. Courses which are set in beautiful surroundings with mountain backdrops and overlooking the Mediterranean can offer some reward when your swing is having a bad day. The pleasant all year round climate is particularly appealing for golfers who are able to enjoy their game out of the main season of July and August when the courses are less busy. Golfing holidays can be organised to include bookings and transportation to meet with your requirements.

I rented one of these apartments with my family (inc.5-year old). Apartment had everything you need and was big enough. The owners were very flexible and the location is excellent. 10 minutes walk to the train station, which gives you an easy access to Cannes, Nice, Monaco and Italy.
Apartment was clean and tidy when we arrived apart from the floors.

Would definitely recommed these apartments to couples or even couples with small children.

Perfect place, perfect location!

We stayed in this apartment for a week in July 2009, it was the first time on the Riviera for us and we didn´t know where to stay but it showed that the location could not have been better. The apartment is located just a 5-10 minute walk from the beautiful old town of Antibes with its lovely small allies and old houses but in a quiet area, the nearest beach is also in the same distance.
If you are travelling by car, there is a garage (free parking, reserved for you), we took the opportunity to find a new beach every day, the thought of having a reserved parking space when coming back, made our days in Antibes a lot easier.
The apartment itself had all the neccesities we needed, the kitchen was perfect, we made nice dinners several times.
One of the days I had a flat tire. Michael, our landlord, came with me to the mechanic and they helped me out with everything for a reasonable and honest price.
Michael and Ann were at all times available on the phone if we had any questions or problems.
We travelled with our two-year old son and on the time of our arrival they had set everything up for us; baby-bed, toys etc etc.
We are definitely going back to Antibes and we are staying at the same place again.

Antibes - Review of Appartment 2, La Pleiade

We stayed in the appartment in central Antibes in April 2009. It was well placed in Antibes near to supermarket (2 mins) and other shops and a 5-10 minutes walk or 1 minute drive from thd old town. The beach was about 10 minutes walk or a short drive. Juan les Pins and Cap D'Antibes were within 5 minutes drive. The appartment has a very convenient underground car park which eased any parking worries. The appartment itself was well appointed, very clean and well presented, everything was there just as it was described. The local agents Michael and Ann were very helpful both beforehand and during the stay. Everything went smoothly for us but it was nice to know help was on hand if needed.
