Situated in Mandelieu, approx a 10 min drive from Cannes centre and 25 min away from Nice airport, this bright, air-conditioned apartment is the perfect location for the various excursions of the Cote D'Azur e.g. Saint Tropez, Grasse, Cannes or even the spectacular Grand Canyon du Verdon.. It is close to beautiful sandy beaches with many water sports, wonderful golf courses, walks along the river, coffee in the Chateau, shopping. Fully furnished, the apartment offers a welcoming entrance hall, a spacious and well fitted kitchen , The living area opens onto an exceptionally spacious balcony (15sq m) offering a wonderful view towards the Esteral Massif and the Marina. The double bedroom with second smaller balcony has a well fitted walk-in wardrobe. A bathroom/WC opens from the middle hall. Marina Parc:: This top floor apartment is located in the prestigious Marina Parc Development. There is 24-hour security at the gatehouse entrance and video entry phone to the building, and, also, secure garage parking. Facilities include an outdoor swimming pool exclusive to Marina Parc residents. The nearest shops are minutes away in the town of Mandelieu, which offers large supermarkets like the Casino and the Geant as well as boulangeries, boutique, etc or in the nearby village of La Napoule. Apart from the local, family friendly beaches, there are lots of things to discover just a short drive away. Mandelieu-La-Napoule is a popular seaside destination and is a particular favourite for those interested in sailing and water sports, such as water skiing, diving, fishing etc. The town has been awarded the 'France Station Nautique' for the quality of its sailing amenities. Other leisure activities include walking, mountain biking , golf, fishing and horse riding

Leisure Activities:: Travel to Monaco with its impressive marina, Cannes for great shopping and eateries, Antibes with its historic walled city and the glamorous Cap d’Antibes as well as Nice, St Tropez, picturesque Seillans, dubbed the most beautiful village in France, and the historic artists centre St Paul de Vence, home of the world famous Colombe d’Or hotel. Other attractions include Marine Land in Antibes, which has other theme parks and is opposite Antibes Land (advertised in Parcs & Loisirs). Also Domaine Sant 'Estello (Domaine Barbossi), where there is a children's' playground and pony trekking about 5 km out on the N7 towards Frejus. The estate also produces its own local 'vin du pays'. The Fragonard perfume factory tour in central Grasse is excellent with a lovely shop. Do visit the Tourist Information Offices in both Mandelieu and La Napoule. They offer a great source of local knowledge and information on all leisure and cultural activities taking place in the area and the region.

Gastronomie:: There is no shortage of fantastic restaurants in and around Mandelieu La Napoule, including the two Michelin star L‘Oasis in La Napoule village Le Brocherie II – on the marina at La Napoule, the waiters greet you with a platter of mouth-watering freshly caught fish to choose from. There is also a lobster lagoon. Marco Polo – also at Theoule sur Mer, this charming family run restaurant is open all year and is always busy. Booking is recommended even in low season as it is a favourite with the locals. (Tel no. 04 93 49 96 59) Le Potiniere du Palais – opposite the Palais des Festivals on the Croisette in Cannes, this restaurant specialises in simple but elegant food and is a favourite with Meg Ryan, Mel Gibson and Tom Hanks during the Cannes Film Festival. And of course don’t forget to take a trip to the restaurants of Mougins!

Ski: For winter sports, there are no less than 15 ski resorts within a two hour drive offering varied terrain for all levels of skiing and snowboarding.

Golf: All year round golf is almost guaranteed on the Cote D’Azur, on a variety of landscapes, with courses suited to all levels. There are 19+ courses to choose from, all within an hour’s drive. In Mandelieu there are two excellent golf courses. The Riviera Golf Club and the Old Course Cannes Mandelieu. Riviera Golf Club. Built during the 1990s, Riviera Golf was designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior. Mostly level with some hills and lakes. This is an 18 hole, par 72 course of 5,736 metres with practice tees and putting green. The Old Course, Cannes-Mandelieu Inaugurated in 1891, it is the oldest course on the coast. A very beautiful course lined with umbrella pines around the Siagne River. During the course of a game, you even have to take a short boat ride. This is an 18-hole course of 5,676 metres, par 71, complete with a 9-hole course of 2,409 meters, par 33. There is a good practice area and a lovely old world clubhouse. There are many other Golf Clubs in easy travelling distance: Three around Mougins (15 mins): The Royal Mougins (home of the Cannes Open); Opio Valbonne; and Cannes-Mougins. Three more around Grasse (25mins): St Donat; La Grande Bastide; and Grasse Golf & Country Club. One in St Raphael (30 mins): Esterel Latitudes Golf Club. Two at Ste-Maxime ((35 mins): Beauvallon-Grimaud Golf Club; Ste-Maxime Golf Club. One at La Motte (45 mins): St Endreol. In addition to these, there are five other superb courses all within a one hour drive from the apartment.

I had had a wonderful time this summer at this holiday home.
The apartment is situated in the middle of the town. It is very
confortable and well endowed.The patio is amply dimensioned.
Here you can wallow in the sun in peace and quiet.
Barbara and Pascal are nice and friendly hosts focus on their guests, making them feel as if they are staying with good friends.
I am looking forward for my next stay in 2010.

Comfortable apartment, clean, very well-equipped and nicely decorated. Handy for the supermarket and town with a very pleasant 25 minute riverside walk down to the La Napoule area. Large west-facing balcony with table, 4 chairs and 2 sun-loungers. Impressive views over the mountains

TV has French channnels only - an English-speaking channel or two would have been useful. Local agents very helpful.

Die Angaben der Wohnung im Internet sind Detailgetreu.Das Appartement war sehr sauber und alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Wir fanden die Klimaanlage sehr angenehm man kann sie gut selbst regeln. Das Appartement ist in einer neueren Ueberbauung daher auch modern. Die Dame die das Appartement pflegt und putzt ist sehr freundlich. Auch die Schlüsselübergabe war unkomplizert. Die Terrasse ist sehr schön jeoch die Strasse die unten durch geht nicht ganz so ruhig. (Was uns nicht störte). Wir würden dieses Domozil durchaus empfehlen. Man kann durch die Anlage nach hinten spazieren dort findet man die Siagne (Fluss) wenn man dort entlang spaziert ist man bald einmal am Meer unten. Einkaufen ist kein Problem vis a vis hat es eine Bäckerei weiter vorne ein Einkaufszentrum und am Mittwoch morgen Markt. Die Garage ist ein wenig weiter hinten was und auch nicht störte.Kurzum gesagt wir werden auf jeden Fall in dieser Wohnung wieder Ferien verbringen.
