New apartment (built in 2003, refurbished in 2005) set in the very heart of beautiful riviera scenery with 3 pools and 5 tennis courts. Perched on the top of wooded hillsides, the village of 'Mougins le Haut' evokes all the intrinsic charm of the Provence, yet only 15 minutes away from 'La Croisette' in Cannes. All the high spots of the Côte d'Azur can be found within easy drive, also thanks to the highway which is not far away. Mougins le Haut is situated in the heart of the Natural Parc 'de la Valmasque' and within easy reach to the many beaches. The nearest beach is 'Golfe Juan' and can be reached within only 15 minutes by car. The apartment is decorated in a provençal style, all furnishing and equipments are new and from the large terrace (3rd and last floor) a panoramic view can be enjoyed. All commodities can be found at the Village Square, grocery shop, baker, butcher, tabac and newspaper, hairstylist and beauty salon, doctor, restaurant, tourist office etc.

Mougins le Haut was built 15 years ago, a village set in the middle of Mediterranean vegetation, on the top of wooded hillsides with stunning views towards the sea and the mountains. Yet only minutes away from the luxury setting of Cannes and it's famous 'Croisette' (10 minutes) as well as to Antibes (15 minutes) with it's charming old town, Picasso museum, and it's colourful local market. An ideal location to discover the beautiful hinterland of the French Riviera with it's many medieval villages like Biot, Valbonne, Grasse, St. Paul de Vence...all within easy reach. Since the highway (A1) is close it is also easy to reach Monaco (40 min), Italie (50min) and places in Provence ec. Aix en Provence (2h). We are a French/German family (fluent English speaking) and have lived in Antibes for 15 years. It is with pleasure that we recommend places to visit!

The newly decorated and refurbished apartment has a large terrace (on the 3rd and last floor) and all around view to the beautiful hinterland, from where the sunset can be enjoyed. When you enter the corridor there is a cupboard, and the bathroom with tub/shower, a separate toilette, a bedroom with another cupboard and a twin bed. The full furnished American kitchen has a fridge with freezing unit, a ceran cooking zone, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster, and water cooker. Iron and iron board are also available. The living room has a dining area, 1 convertible sofa bed (quality mattress 1,60 x 1, 90, can also sleep 2 adults) TV (satellite), terrace with garden furniture. A private car parking is right in front of the main entrance, a private small cellar can be used if needed. The pools , 2 for children, 1 large pool and the tennis courts are within 3 min walking. There is also a children playground, and a jogging and walking path in the park de Valmasque.

Golf Information:

In golfing terms Mougins must be considered the Mecca in France, enjoying two first class golf courses situated actually within the territory of Mougins. These are the famous old Cannes-Mougins course and the new prestigious Royal Mougins Golf course. At least one major international tournament is held annually on these courses. Additionally there are many other courses nearby such as: St.Philippe in Sophia (only 5 minutes by car) St Donat, Grasse Country Club, Opio-Valbonne Club, Cannes-Mandelieu Club, Riviera Golf Mandelieu, Biot Golf Club, Opio Club Med course and Monte Carlo Country Club to mention but a few. It may be possible to buy a 'passport' that allows you to play four or five different courses in a week. All this in a warm climate that permits play right through the year.
