2 Families welcome. Charming typical French village house, with a room to each floor, four stories. Approx. 115 sq.m. in all. Charming new kitchen and bathroom. 2 balconies, facing south. Air-conditioning and central heating. TV/DVD, fax and ADSL-line. Please contact us for web site address. The house is around 200 years old. It is in the heart of the old part of Le Cannet. 2 min. to beautiful PLACE BELEVUE, with its cosy restaurants. 2 min walk from baker, butcher and general store. Le Cannet is brilliantly located from a traffic point of view. The airport bus from NICE - CANNES has its first stop here. Only 3 km. to the BEACH, the famous 'La Croisette' , 'Palais Du Festival' and 'Marche Forville'.

The alleys are narrow and steep - some of them are even turned into long stairs! Here you find cozy little restaurants, apart from which the streets are dominated by artists and galleries. 3 km. to the centre of CANNES. Cannes has something for everyone - whether you're sun-seeker or shopping for sights. It' s a city for beach boys and girls, for festival-goers, for conference delegates, shoppers, bon vivants.... and unparalleled for celebrity watching.

Notes: LEVEL 1: The room on the ground level has exit to a balcony and is equipped with air condition and fireplace. TV with DVD. There’s also a small office with fax & printer and ADSL Internet connection. It serves as a living room but is easily converted into a sleeping room with a double bed and two guest beds. LEVEL 2: A nice room that combines kitchen and dining room. Table and settings for 12 people. Guest toilet and laundry room. Level 3: Bedroom with 4 beds. TV with DVD. Lovely bathroom with tub and shower. Level 4: The bedroom on level 4 does not have full standing height. On the other hand it has a wonderful view. 3 beds and guest bed. The neighbourhood: The neighbourhood is residential with friendly, helpful neighbours. You will find a remarkable peace and quiet here, only punctuated by the chiming of the nearby tower clock.

'Quartier Historique' in Le Cannet: In many ways, the old part is reminiscent of Montmartre in Paris. Although the houses here are in a better shape, since the owners receive financial aid to restore their buildings on the outside. Many artists have their own small workshop and galleries in the small shops. You'll find painters, sculptors and art dealers - alongside the normal selection of butcher, baker, grocer, the cafes and the restaurants.
