Surroundings:
Carros Village is a beautiful old village, overlooking the Mercantour Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. It is close to Nice, with its beautiful Promenade Des Anglais, beaches and charming old town. Numerous restaurants surround are to be found around, both in Carros Village, Nice, Cannes, Vence, St Paul de Vence and Gattieres. Markets and great shopping (great Mall at Cap 3000, NIce Cannes) at a short distance.
For the golf player it is heaven, with over 15 premier 18 hole Golf courses in the surrounding area. From the Royal Mougin to the Monte Carlo Golf club, to some great 9 hole courses it offers a lot to the most professional golf player to beginners.
For hiking enthusiasts the location is also excellent: hiking tour books can be found at the villa and the beautiful mountain side is there to be explored.
The wonderful hills offer excellent wines, which can be tasted at various wine houses in the neighbourhood, one of which is within walking distance.
Interior:
The villa is nicely furnished with couches and a fire place, throw pillows and a large dining table. Both bathrooms are new with marble tiles and rainshowers. The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of dishes and cutlery, electrical conveniences, dish washer, micro wave and oven.
Cosy bedrooms are well appointed.
The dining terrace offers a great view and a barbeque. A small terrace in the uper garden catches the last sun at the end of the day.
There is plenty of garden furniture and 8 sunbeds.
Easy to get to:
Les Mimosas is only 10 minutes from the A8, 20 minutes away from the Airport of Nice, and has a bus link to St Laurent the Var and Nice.
A local train can take you into the mountains and towards Dignes. Isola 2000, the famous Ski resort, is less than 70 km's away.
Golf:
Les Mimosas is surrounded by gorgeous golf courses: Over 15 18 holes golf courses can be found within a half hours'drive. These include famous courses like the Royal Mougin, the Monte Carlo Golf Club, the Golf Club Mandelieu and the Valbonne Opio Golf Club. In addition, there are quite a few 9 holes courses as well so that you can combine a great morning teeeing off in the hills with a few hours sunbathing on the beach. All clubs have pro's and rent out sets.
Our own preference is the club at Mandelieu with stunning views of the sea, the Opio Valbonne course and the 9 holes Victoria.
