St.-Vallier-de-Thiey holiday villa: SAINT VALLIER DE THIEY

This place is even more beautiful than the images show. The interior is immaculate, stylishly decorated, very big and has everything you need. The outside grounds are gorgeous! You can swim, play tennis and ride bikes, and its location is ideally suited for day touring to Grasse, Nice, medieval towns and the beautiful French Riviera. We were even able to visit Aix-en-Provence within 1-1/2 hrs drive. The owners provided excellent customer service and greeted us with a lovely "Welcome Basket" filled with fruits and treats! We would definitely recommend this as an ideal vacation rental. We thank you for sharing your lovely VIlla with us.

The entire property is beautiful, both inside this lovely home, and outside. We were greeted by a sumptuous fruit basket...filled to the brim with perfectly ripened fruits. So beautiful I plan to paint a still life from our pictures. Comfortable in any weather. We ventured out visiting Gordon, Tourettes, St. Paul and Vence, and Le Napoule. Small villages, art villages, the French Riviera were all within an easy drive. We hope we can return to the south of France and this home away from home. Thank you for sharing this lovely abode with us.

I cant recommend this villa highly enough. Everything about our visit there was perfect. The booking process was easy and the owners are really friendly and approachable. In fact although we never met them, we would like to think of them as friends, such was the rapport that we built up with them by email prior to our stay. We were quite a big family group but the beautiful grounds are so vast that everyone seemed to peel off and do their own thing. Whilst some had a ping pong tournament and others lay lazily in the sun, the childred splashed about in the lovely safe pool. The bedrooms are spacious and airy and beautifully decorated all in a slightly different style. The pool house away from the house would also make a great bedroom for the really reclusive or those members of your party with the loudest snores! The lounge/diner is massive although we didnt use it much as the outdoor patio with massive table was perfect for meals.The kitchen is spacious and well appointed, perfect for those who fancy themselves as culinary experts! There is a lovely bathroom with shower, a seperate shower with massaging features and another small cloakroom. There is also utilty room with washing machine, tumble dryer and steam dryer. Behind the kitchen is a further room with an additional fridge/freezer and storage cupboards. As well as the ping pong table and tennis court there were 5 or 6 bicycles of varying styles and sizes all safe and sturdy and perfect for discovering the local area. Although we didnt venture out too much, the surrounding area is stunning and some of the small towns and villages nearby are really authentic and very pretty! A small note about the tennis court-it is in need of some repair but whilst it may not be of "wimbledon" standard it is perfectly ok for a knockabout. Every thought and care has been put into this villa and everything is provided for a fantastic luxury holiday. Although hiring a villa is basically a business transaction, we feel very honoured that Nadia and Phillipe allowed us to stay at this beautiful villa, that is obviously their pride and joy!
