Village House Review

My husband, myself and my two kids stayed in this apartment in Old Antibes this past August for one week. It was our first time to the South of France and we were not disappointed. Old Antibes is a great destination. I loved the market, the restaurants, the local beach, the architecture, the narrow, crooked streets and houses. The marina is amazing. I have never so many mega-yachts! It'll knock your socks off. This rental is just as charming as its pictures and the owner obviously gave a lot of thought to everything that you would need to make a perfect vacation. The kitchen was fully stocked, the property was clean and well-maintained. We were all very comfortable. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. The beds were comfortable and like the way it was decorated- very beach cottage-ish. My only advice is that you remember that you will have to carry your luggage from wherever you park (not right at the house - but about 3 blocks away at the parking facility) because you cannot bring a car into the narrow streets in this part of town. Not a big deal because this is also part of the charm, but you may wish to have luggage with wheels. There is so much to see and explore that I would recommend this vacation to anyone. Don't forget to try the mussels and french fries! The fruit preserves, pate, olive oil and of course, the bread and cheese at the market are a must. I have never tasted better tomatoes! It was wonderful.
