A very special place in the sun

Les Trois Palmes is an exceptional property in the heart of Old Antibes, ideally situated just two minutes from the local market, which is a special experience in itself, and five minutes from a most pleasant public beach. It is also well postioned for local restaurants and the town centre.
Having stayed there twice we can recommend the many special featues of the property, best of which is the sixth floor terrace/balcony with its own kitchen and small indoor dipping pool. Facing west it get the sun from mid morning onwards and is perfect for drinks before sunset, which is often spectacular over the nearby mountains. You can just sit back and see the town comes to life at night below you.
The bedrooms are all a good size and with two bathrooms in the main house plus a separate toilet, and an additional ensuite in the studio below, it has all mod cons. The kitchen has a huge table for family dining, but in the sumer you will just want to use the sixth-floor kitchen or eat out at one of Antibes many excellent restaurants.
The lounge is snug with a TV provided for staying in, or it can be just used for chilling out. A smaller lower balcony is a really nice feature for having a quiet read or a breakfast.
Only warning is that you need to be fit to live there. As the house is six stories high you need a lot of lot of energy to pound up and down the stairs..but the terrace/balcony at the top really is worth the climb. Ideally you need to move all of your day-to-day food and drink up there at the start of the holiday, as there is a fridge and cooker etc, and live at the top of the building.
The only other downside is occasional noise at night from properties opposite, which face the building across quite a narrow street.
This property really is an exceptoinally attractive propostion for a family or larger group of friends, and I am sure we will be returning again in the near future.
