Large tiled heated pool South facing Large exceptional gardens. Very private.

Near the lovely village of Chateauneuf de Grasse with plenty of good restaurants, set in approximately an acre of gardens, this Provencal style villa has a lovely country feel. A long wide terrace overlooks the pool. Furnishings and equipment are to a high standard throughout. It has peace and quiet but is less than 35 minutes from the airport and only a 20 minute drive down to the sea, Antibes and Cannes - even in the peak months. The villa is at the end of a small no-through residential country lane, totally private.

Provencal style villa in the Cote d'Azur one mile from the historic Alpes-Maritime village of Chateauneuf de Grasse. It is less than 35 minutes from the airport and only a 20 minute drive down to the sea, Antibes and Cannes - even in the peak months. Biot, Valbonne, Opio and Mougins are all within 10 min.

The land falls away towards Grasse le Plan to the south and steeply to the north to the top of the hill (approx 300 feet above), the villa is 0.4 miles from Grasse. The Loup Valley is 1 - 2 miles away with the beautiful Loup Gorge, and villages Bar sur Loup, Tourettes sur Loup are close by. Gourdon with its unbelievable views is 3 miles away.

Additional information about rental rates

  • PAYMENT: A 50% deposit of the total rental cost is required at time of booking. Outstanding balance is required 8 weeks before arrival date, together with a security deposit of 1000 Euros to cover breakages, damage etc.
  • Arrival times are till 20:00, later times will need to be agreed in advance and will incurr an extra charge.

    Departure times are by 10:00am.
  • Heated Pool costs Euro 100 per week Pool Heating needs to be requested in advance and is automaticaly set.

    Maid Service is included in price at begining and end of rental,. If rental period is greater than one week, maid will attend once every week.

We had a superb summer fortnight at Lou Bousquet. Both the house and the garden were excellent. The house is very well equipped, and having wireless internet was great. The patio is spacious with shaded (and sunny) parts all through the day, and we were able to have every meal outdoors in the beautiful surroundings. There were no flies in the day and very few mosquitoes at night. The weather was perfect and the surrounding villages beautiful and interesting. We tried canyoning in the Loup valley with a guide from a local company in Pont de Loup, this was very good and can be recommended also for people who are not very adventurous.
The villa is conveniently close to the airport in Nice (35 minutes drive) but situated up in the mountains away from the worst of the Riviera traffic and with a much better climate. The pool is large, very clean and the pool area is inviting and offers both sun and shade.
We were very happy that our rental car was not a minibus, as the last bit of road to the villa is rather narrow, which is fine with an ordinary sedan, but would probably have been more difficult with a large car.
The whole rental procedure was very well organized. It is easy to recommend this villa.

Our stay at the villa was a true delight. Lou Bousquet
is spacious and charming with a wonderful patio area.
The location was convenient to the beaches of Cannes,
Nice airport and the cultural attractions in and around
St Paul de Vence. The highlight was the villa's
beautiful gardens and pool. We can't wait to return!

The setting of this villa is very special, with its large,
private and tranquil gardens set on a dramatic
hillside. The trees, shrubs and roses in particular
were just gorgeous in May and it is all beautifully
maintained in a delightful rambling way. The pool is
lovely and the villa made a great place for our
extended family gathering. This is a real gem.

Both the house and the garden was excellent and we had a superb fortnight at Lou Bousquet. The weather was perfect and the surrounding villages both beautiful and interesting. Our children enjoyed the wireless internet connection and could stay in touch with their friends at home. We would definitely like to come back to this wonderful place another year.
