Valbonne is a busy medieval town with a myriad of little streets around a large central square with many restaurants, art galleries, antique shops and a buzzing Friday market. Mougins, the gastronomic centre of the South of France, is a 15 min drive. The nearby village of Pont du Loup is home to the famous Confiserie Florian creating exquisite chocolate and sweet delights. Gourdon, high above, has fantastic views and scenery. Grasse, the perfume capital of the Cote d'Azur is close by and for the hustle and bustle of the coast, Cannes, Antibes, La Napoule, Juan les Pins and Theoule are all within a 30-40 min drive. The keen golfer will find several courses including Grasse Country Club, St. Donat, Royal Mougin and Chateau Tolane nearby. Ski resorts at Greolieres-les-Neiges, Valberg and Isola 2000 are from 40 min drive away, as is rafting in Castellane.
