Surrounded by nature in a conservation area, the villa offers total privacy and quietness, located only 10 min walk from the old village of St Jeannet , 6 km from Vence and St Paul de Vence,15 minutes to Nice International Airport and the sea. 20 min to Nice or Cannes. St Jeannet is situated next to Vence and St Paul du Venca, some 12 km from Nice International airport, and some 13 km from the beach. This part of the Riviera offers the best micro climate of the region, as it is sheltered from the Mistral wind that often blows strongly in western parts of the Region. Particularly during the fall & winter & spring time , as the region is protected by the mountains in the hinterland.The property is situated in a very dominant South position, well exposed to the sun, with a spectacular south view over the Riviera and the Mediterranean sea. During the winter season you are only 1 hour away from 3 popular ski resorts-Isola 2000-Auron and Valberg, normally open from December to April.

  • Last minutes, special offers and discounts may be available subject to space available. Special long term winter rental rates,, are available from November to April. 1 month eur 2500, 2 month eur 2300, 3 month + eur 2100/month plus out goings.
    Additional charge per rental for the cleaning of the property when you depart.is Eur 170/rental payable on arrival During the period Oct 11 to May 01 there is a surcharge of eur 125/week for electricity & heating. For long-term rentals the charge for electricity & heating will be as per the actual consumption..
    Security Deposit for weekly rentals is Euro 300 to be paid on arrival and will be returned in full upon departure provided no damage is made to the house. The security deposit for monthly rentals depends on the lenght of the stay. We also recommend that you have a traveller accident & damage insurance covering your stay. Check in 4pm to 8pm, check out before 10am Saturdays unless otherwise agreed.
  • Deposit on reservation; 20 %, 30% 60 days prior to arrival and the balance 30 days prior to arrival.
    Cancellation fee; 20% 90 days, 50% 60 days, 100% 30 days prior to arrival.
  • The rates include normal use of electricity for 4 persons as of May 01 to mid October. From October 11 until May 01, a weekly surcharge of Eur 125/week is applicable for Electricity & Heating.

The Villa is close to everything you need: The Villa is situated very close to some popular Ski resorts, like Isola 2000, Auron and Valberg, only 1- 1,5 hour away by Car. The resorts are normally open from December to April. You could practice Swimming, Golfing and skiing in one and the same day

Extra bed room availability (RD bed room): The published rates include the usage of 2 bed rooms. If you want to use the 3rd bed room kindly ask the owner.

Other Activities: winter ski resorts approx 30-60 min by car.

Thanks to the house's magnificent location, a guest there will feel himself in the unique position of being far away from all the noise of the world, and yet almost a stone's throw from so many of the famous places on the French Riviera, At night you can see the magical lights on the hills leading down to the coast, and at the same time hear the songs of nightingales and even the call of an owl.

The house itself fits just right for a party of 6 people, Tastefully furnished and equipped with everything a guest needs to have an enjoyable stay. The only real problem is making up your mind to go away on excursions: especially when the sun is shining and the pool, with its incredibly clean and refreshing water, keeps on calling you to spend another day just being lazy! But whenever you finally do decide to go, you won't really have to drive more than an hour to be in any number of beautiful towns and culltural attractions.

The nearby village of Le Peyron has a well-stocked supermarket, and a pastry shop that has a fine reputation of its own -try getting away from it without buying more than you intended! This comes in very handy whenever you do decide to be lazy: nothing nicer than filling up the car with goodies and then hurrying back to the pool!

The house's Caretaker is also extremely patient and helpful whenever a question needs to be answered. His maintenance of the house and garden give evidence of his and the owner's great efforts to make a stay at the Villa an unforgettable experience.

Although there might be more reasonable houses available in the area, I don't think it possible to find one that combines all the elements of a perfect vacation the way this one does. We would not only recommend the house to everyone, we're already planning our next stay!

A Heavenly Villa

I stay at this villa every May-early June and it never ceases to amaze me. The Villa is always immaculate, well maintained, completely modern with an on site maintenance person. This year I used the pool every day and it was splendid. The mountain behind the villa is perfect for walking or climbing and the air is pure and fresh.

The surrounding villages offer all fares of food, and there is a brick oven pizzeria in St. Jeannet that's the best I have ever had. The Villa is pet and child friendly as well as the neighbors. This is an absolute dream vacation for the romantically inclined or a family. The owner is immediately responsive and you never feel that you are stranded in France. The Villagers are warm and eager to help you out (of anything!!), the villa is completely secured. I would recommend staying here to anyone. The views of the Alps and the Sea must be experienced . You can drive along the coast to Italy, Cannes and of course Nice, see Roman Ruins or enjoy a Five Star Spa all within a comfortable drive or take the train. The area is rich in art and the musse's are all around the area. Adventuring into the surrounding medieval towns is entertaining as well as educational. Some of the Castles nearby are adorned with beautiful gardens and along the coast are some of the most exquiste villa's with extremely elaborate gardens (Cap Ferratt and Cap Antibes) are an easy drive. This is truly a vacation you will return to.
