Villa Clara is a beautiful, private, self contained Provençal-style holiday home. The superb two-level villa combines traditional Provençale living with modern comforts, conveniences and amenities, giving you the best of both worlds. Located in the charming medieval village of St Jeannet, Villa Clara is only two minute's walk from the Village's butcher, grocer, French bakeries, and six restaurants and bars. The villa is situated behind two locked gates; there is also a security alarm, which is monitored 24 hours a day. It is ideal for a family holiday, or as place to be enjoyed with friends - the villa and stand-alone studio can comfortably accommodate a group of eight people. Enjoy wonderful Mediterranean views; dine on the terrace with our simple to use wood-fired pizza oven; swim in our private pool. Villa Clara is all about long summer days, great food, beautiful wine and pure enjoyment. It’s about experiencing l’essence de Provençale.

The large lounge is beautifully decorated in Provençal style, and features exposed oak beams. Comfortable sofas, chairs and great ambiance create the perfect place to relax in front of the large fireplace. For entertainment there is a television which receives English, Italian, French and German cable channels. If you love to cook, you’ll love Villa Clara’s kitchen. Along with all the utensils, there are gas hobs and an electric oven, a microwave oven, large fridge/freezer, espresso machine, toaster, electric jug/kettle, dishwasher and an eight-seater Provençal table. The office has wireless high speed internet with laptop,printer, photocopier and scanner.

Additional information about rental rates

  • 25% deposit is required when booking. This is non-refundable and is to be paid into the owner's French bank account on confirmation. The balance is required 2 months before your arrival at Villa Clara.

    **** From 5 June 2010 to 10 September 2010 check in must be Saturday to Saturday. At all other times, please email us to see whether we can accommodate you with a 5 night minimum stay.

    All prices include water and electricity, except for winter bookings (from October to April). During this period guests are asked to cover electricity & wood costs. A final charge for cleaning is not included in the above rates. A payment of 150 € on arrival is required to cover cleaning costs.
    A 'Security Deposit' of 700 € must also be paid on arrival. This is refundable, and will be returned in full if there is no damage to the house. The renter is required to have a travel insurance policy with public liability cover for each person.

  • The grand Master Bedroom, on the main level, has a king-sized bed, lots of storage and wardrobe space, television, dressing table, and bedside cabinets. It also has an en-suite bathroom complete with large bath, separate shower, toilet, hand basin and vanity with storage space. The Garden Bedroom has two single beds that can be joined to make a king bed, as well as a television and wardrobe. It’s French doors open on to Villa Clara’s beautiful garden. It shares a bathroom with the Children’s Bedroom that boasts a bidet and a shower with a small, but deep, bath. A cot & highchair are available, The cosy Children’s bedroom has 2 x single bunk beds, and is the perfect size to comfortably sleep two children or an adult. Although Villa Clara is designed for relaxation, if you really need to catch up on work, you can. The office is a separate room equipped with a laptop, printer, scanner and photocopier. You can also work online through our high speed wireless Internet access.

The Studio: Villa Clara has a delightful studio on its grounds. This is a self contained building situated just ten metres from the main Villa. Inside is a kitchenette with two electric cooking hobs, an electric jug/kettle and a fridge. The cottage has its own separate shower and toilet too, along with a small television set. If no-one in your party is using the cottage, why not simply enjoy it as a fantastic summer house – a great place to take it easy on those long, hot Mediterranean summer days.

The Pool: Villa Clara is just fifteen kilometres from the coast, but you needn’t go that far for a swim. The private garden pool is 9 meters long and 4.5 meters wide, sloping from a depth of 0.9 meters down to 1.8 meters at deep end. During the summer it is serviced every week to ensure excellent water quality. You can make full use of the outdoor furniture and sun umbrellas and, of course, beach towels are supplied free. The electronic pool alarm will ensure that the pool is safe as well as refreshing and enjoyable.
