Speracedes holiday villa "Villa Caprice" in Speracedes

We (5 persons) spent two fantastic weeks in July 2010 in Villa Caprice. The house is well equipted and clean.

The pool is in a very good state and very clean. Supermarkts are not far away but it is better to use a car.

The neighbours are very friendly and helpful.

We recommend this house.

We made some tours to Grasse, Cabris, Cannes, Nice. It was very impressive.

The weather was fine, so we spent much time in the water of the pool and enjoyed all of our meals outside.

Generally good except for bedding and towels; both need replacing. The satelite TV featured very few english speaking channels - perhaps this should be mentioned in your literature. The lounge chairs were incredibly uncomfortable and need changing

On the positive side the location was excellent - Cabris was a delight to visit for a coffee each morning. The view from the villa was magnificent and the aspect of the villa meant the pool warmed up quickly and stayed warm for the day - Excellent pool side furniture. The table on the terrace was a delightful place to enjoy meals. The garden was well cared for and the ladies who looked after us could not have been more helpful.

So although there were a few minuses we felt the plusses outweighed these and would be happy to recommend the villa to others especially as the few areas of concern can be easily rectified.

We stayed here in summer 2007 . we had been to this area before and really loved it. Outdoors is lovely - nice garden and clean pool and plenty of furniture - and great views - they almost make it all worthwhile until you go to bed at night - the beds must be at least 20 yrs old - may easily be pushing 30 years old and are incredibly uncomfortable - my 7 year old fell out of and tumbled over the single bed i lost count of how many times - and the doubles are no better. With no air con gets v hot at night and we could not take advantage of the cool mountain breeze at night as we were afraid our toddler might make a hasty exit over the unsecure balcony area. Inside is also quite grimy and when i arrived i felt like the place had about 20-30 years of gease. one of the bathrooms is reasonably modern and clean and the others are needing updating.

if the interior does not bother you then outdoors - where you do spend most of your time is great. you just need to keep a very close eye on a toddler as there are no railings around balcony and a bit of a drop - nor around pool area but with a child over 5 these safety issues are minor.

there are loads of great restaurants in the area that are much better value for money than on the coast.

i would def go back to this house if they renovate
