This charming, spacious provencal villa is situated in an exclusive, gated, hilltop Domaine. It benefits from outstanding sea & valley views. and is only 15 minutes from the airport. Located in a prime but quiet position on the Cote D’Azur between Nice & Antibes, the Villa, with its own covered parking bay, has well established south-facing private gardens with three separate terraces all with breathtaking views of the sea, Cap D'Antibes and the wooded valley below. The night views are spectacular. The breakfast terrace has a unique stone table that was once an olive millstone and seats 8 comfortably. The garden patio is ideal for sunbathing or relaxing in the shade. The en- suite Master Bedroom and Lounge have beautiful views through the double French doors opening onto a full length balcony. The second bedroom has en-suite facilities also. This peaceful Domain has a large swimming pool overlooking wonderful sea & valley views and is only a 15 min walk to St Paul de Vence.

The Villa is ideally situated as a base for visiting the French Riviera and exploring the seaside resorts of Nice, Antibes, Cannes and St. Tropez as well as the historic mountain villages nearby. The most famous, St. Paul de Vence is within easy walking distance (15 mins approximately). This medieval village with its ramparts and cobbled streets, described as the most beautiful village in France was once the home of many famous artists such as Chagal, Renoir & Mastisse and its association with art is still seen today with its magnificent art shops and galleries. The world class museum Fondation Maeght and renowned restaurant Le Colombe D'Or are both within walking distance. Monte Carlo is half an hour's drive, with the Italian border and Southern Alps both just 40 minutes away. The renowned ski resort of Isola 2000 is an hour's drive. Both Nice & Antibes have historic markets that are not to be missed!

Notes: The villa has been totally renovated. The master bedroom with king-sized bed has patio doors which open onto the south-facing balcony. The en-suite bathroom has a large shower cubicle, bath with shower head, toilet and double vanity unit. The second bedroom has a king sized bed. The en-suite bathroom has a large shower cubicle, toilet & handbasin. There is a further toilet and wash basin in the cloakroom. Heating is by electric radiators supplemented in the Lounge by an electric log-effect stove. For your entertainment there is a Hi -Fi system, DVD player and T.V. (DVD viewing only). The Lounge has patio doors opening onto the balcony, and includes two sofa's. One is a quality double sized sofa-bed which is comfortable for two adults. There are steps down to the villa and garden, and due to its hillside situation is not suitable for very young children or the infirm. However, the villa can cater for children over 5 yrs and babies (we can provide a travel cot and high chair)

We had a wonderful time and were very pleased with the villa, including the exceptionally beautiful view, layout and great location! The villa was very clean, comfortable, spacious and well maintained. In fact, we have already recommended it to several of our friends.

We returned for a second stay this summer and were not disappointed.

The villa had been redecorated and had new furniture and was as beautifully maintained as last year. It has a lovely homely feel to it and is well-equipped with everything one needs on holiday.

The various terasses and levels in the garden provide plenty of choice of where to sit and enjoy the morning, afternoon or evening sun or shade, according to one's needs.

We enjoyed the area again, the proximity to St Paul de Vence, which is beautiful; the easy access to the sea and beaches; and the whole coastline and mountains further in land.

An excellent choice of location and accommodation for a family holiday.

Lovely Villa Mimosa

This was our first time in South of France and I can truly say that we fell in love with it. Our greatest thanks belong to the owners of Villa Mimosa, who were extremely kind and helpful and answered all of our questions.The villa was in a perfect location; just a short distance to St Paul <3 and a good base to explore the beautiful Provence.The villa was spacious enough for our big family ( two adults and three children), the views were fabulous and it was nice to enjoy morning breakfasts, meals, evenings drinking wine or playing cards with kids etc on the terrace. The wonderful first thing in the morning was the pool. It was never too busy and it was large enough for proper swims too. My kids wanted to spend their time there.I am going to recommend Villa Mimosa to my friends in Finland and I wish to return one day.

Everything about the experience was great. The owners diligently and patiently answered all of our questions and were a delight to deal with. The villa itself was perfect and the location ideal. We're looking forwards to going there again.

Quiet residential area. Within walking distance to St Paul de Vence but could be unwise to walk back at night along the country lanes.
Ideal for sightseeing and base for trips out eg Renoirs garden, Nice, etc. Villa had all required facilities (except english on the tv). Still who needs TV when in Provence for a few days?. Good size shared pool with sufficient sunbeds. Can recommend and we hope to return.
