A delightful villa offering great views of the beautiful village of St Paul de Vence as well as the coast and Cap d'Antibes. Our villa has a lovely private paved courtyard garden which is a great area for outdoor dining as well as two further terraces, ideal for enjoying the relaxing ambiance of the private domain. A luxury fitted bathroom upstairs, also a second WC downstairs, fully fitted separate kitchen, large comfortable lounge. Located within a private hilltop domain with access to a large shared south facing swimming pool it is a great location for a peaceful retreat or as a base for visiting the many beautiful mountain top villages of the Cote as well as the exciting port towns of Antibes, Nice and Cannes. Whether you are interested in art, antique markets, jazz festivals, skiing or food this is the perfect area for you. St Paul's famous Colombe d'or restaurant is a 15 minute walk as is Cafe de la Place. Nice airport and various beaches are within 15 minutes drive.

St Paul de Vence is reputed to be the most beautiful village in France, with a stunning hilltop location this fortified mediaeval village has become synonymous with art and is now home to some of the best art galleries in the country. The excellent Foundation Maeght is a few minutes walk from the centre of the village and is renowned around the world for art and exhibitions. A peaceful area in the foothills of the alps with mediaeval villages to the north and the bustling and exciting towns of the Riviera to the south. With a 10 minute drive you can visit the markets of Vence, Tourette sur Loup & Biot, within 15 minutes in the opposite direction you can be in Nice or Antibes. Cannes (good for shopping) and the gastronomic village of Mougins are accessible in 20 minutes, you can be in Monaco in 45 minutes. If you enjoy great views, beautiful rugged scenery, delightful villages and great food this area is ideal. It’s a good place to relax and the area is a must for art lovers.

    A refundable Security Deposit of £250.00 is due prior to arrival and will be returned after your stay.
    Payment is accepted in Sterling or Euro.

Notes: There are terraces directly from both of the bedrooms, one with views of St Paul, the other toward the swimming pool and the coast. The main bedroom is elegantly furnished with large fitted wardrobes, the second bedroom is a twin and has a freestanding wardrobe - both rooms are lovely and sunny. There is a downstairs WC as well as the full bathroom upstairs. The shared pool is open between 09.00 and 20.00, there is a selection of pool furniture, loungers, chairs, tables and umbrellas available around the pool. There is a TV with both terrestrial and satellite systems, DVD and Video. The large lounge opens directly on to the very pretty and secluded courtyard garden which has a large table, chairs and umbrella, there are a couple of deck chairs and several wrought iron tables and chairs dotted around on the balconies.

We had a wonderful stay in this villa.

It is very comfortable, clean and well equipped. It has a courtyard garden which is completely private and is accessed by french doors directly off the living room so really feels like an extension of indoors.

There is air conditioning throughout the property which is very easy to use and is very effective. The property is light and bright (I don't understand the other reviewers comments about lights but we certainly didn't have any problems when we were there).

The communal pool was always quiet and is large enough for a proper swim.

Photos and description on the site are all very accurate.

St Paul is a 5 min drive / 20 min walk away - it is an enchanting village full of fantastic galleries and restaurants.

All in all a great holiday and a great property - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

Comfortable, pleasant two bedroom home with all necessary amenities but lacking some comforts due to a shortage of fans, linen and enough light. Air con due in next year we hear, and this place will be vastly improved.
Owner's Response: We have recently added air-conditioning throughout the villa and have had the interior and exterior redecorated.

We have a new cleaner this year and do not anticipate any issues with linen or lightbulbs.

We had a wonderful vacation in this villa. It is very clean (which is not always a given in France) and well equipped. Quiet area.
Air conditioning worked fine.
We all liked the pool, which is very clean and quite large.
