Notes: The large private swimmingpool provides endless fun for all ages, lit up at night with pink blue green and orange water for an enchanting scenery. Equipped with a removable security fence, it slopes gently from one side reaching over 2 meters at the other end for diving. Since the house situated right in the middle of the prairie you can always keep an eye on the children all around 360° and be heard by them. In summer the house is a haven of coolness. Ideal for 2-3 families with young children or for a bunch of friends. Large sight from everywhere over the groves in 'restanques', the swimmingpool and the hills. Society games, outdoor plays, table tennis, bowls... You can stroll and picnic in nature without having to leave the property. All around, adjacent paths lead you to the neighbouring villages or into the mountains or to Le Loup River. 15 minutes walk from the house a free shuttle picks you up at the car park and drops off at the market square.

Mazet is a very comfortable, well-presented converted farmhouse in beautiful grounds, on a very quiet road. Totally secluded, but the coast is only 20 mins away, and a 10 minute walk on a footpath takes you to the medieval walled town of Tourrettes. At night, you cannot see or hear anyone else.....
The web description is very accurate and fair, and the owner is delightful- she took enormous trouble to make sure everything was ok- it really felt like being lent a house, rather than renting it.
There are lots of sights locally- Vence, St Paul, Gourdon are all musts, but you can also go to the local beaches for the day (we would recommend the small sandy beach between Juan-Les-Pins and Cap D'Antibes), or pop into Nice in the evening (about 40 mins to the Cours Saleya), although we spent most nights outside chatting and waiting for the next mystery animal to arrive- tree frogs, wild boar, giant toads, owls, fireflies.. but nothing scary.
Inside the main house, nice furnishings, wi-fi worked as did everything else. The main upstairs bedroom is definitely superior to the other rooms, which are simple but ok.

I have never bothered to write a review before (hence the cliches) but its a great place- I would thoroughly recommend it

We had a perfect week at Le Mazet des Loups.

As two families we were delighted to find there was so much space - inside and out. Children and adults had such fun in the pool and we enjoyed meals on the terrace too.

My favourite room is at the top of the castle like staircase - a beautiful bedroom with views out over the pool and olive groves.

The property was well-maintained, equipped and clean and Renée made several checks to make sure we were happy.

The more active of our party loved walking to the village with its quaint shops, ancient walls and market. While the others just lazed by the pool.

We also had trips out to St Tropez and Monaco (the latter was the best).

I hope we can visit again.

Paradise on the Cote d'Azur

The description of the property was accurate. Actually it even exceeded our expectations. We had seen many pictures but the reality was better.
The property was clean and well maintained.
The owner did provide good customer service and we would certainly recommend the property to a friend.

We visited Le relais des Coches in Tourettes which is a very good restaurant with a wonderful view on Tourettes.
We went canyoning in Castellane and we also did a 'high rope' course there. Very nice but quite a long trip of almost 2 hours.
