We Within walking distance to Valbonne with its good restaurants, shopping and ambiance. There are lots of things to do and see nearby. We sit high on a hill with cool breezes under our beautiful olive trees. There are views galore of the nearby hills and mountains. Close to Mougin village and it's wonderful charming restaurants. Many other perched villages for sightseeing nearby. Six golf courses within a fifteen minute drive, all are easy to get onto. Tennis courts only a 5 minute walk. Close to the beaches along the coast without the hassle of the traffic. One hour to the Verdone for kayaking and hiking. Nice airport is an easy 20 minute drive. 45 minutes to Monte Carlo. 20 minutes to Cannesand its fabulous shopping. We are in a gated community, no through traffic. Very quiet. My husband and I have traveled extensively over the years in the South of France and have always been interested in experiencing living in a home rather than a hotel room.

Luckily, we were familiar with the reputation of the owners and their design business, so we were confident that this would be a beautiful, well appointed and comfortable home. It was all of that and much much more. When not enjoying the extensive and well maintained gardens showcasing roses, lavender, fig and olive trees, we were thrilled to find the pool was heated to 88 degrees.

But the home was so perfectly located that it was hard to find time to luxuriate by the pool as so many medieval towns, beaches, golf courses and of course restaurants were so close by. They provided an extensive list of suggestions and when we decided to try Les Terraillers for dinner in Biot, we were thrilled....an excellent recommendation!

We have all been in homes that are touted as being a cut above the rest and found that what is promised is not necessarily what is delivered. All aspects of this home in Valbonne are excellent, including security and housekeeping services.

My husband and I would recommend this property to anyone!

Piece of Heaven

I stayed at this lovely chateau along with my husband and 2 other couples. We loved it so much that we all returned the next year. It's in an absolutely perfect location - close to all the great destinations in Cote d' Azur. You feel like you're in the center of it all, yet you have the privacy of this gorgeous chateau tucked away in the hills. All the rooms are absolutely perfect - lovely decor. The bedrooms are all extremely comfortable - each room has it's own bathroom. The pool is a real treat. At the end of the day it was so great to come home and take a swim and enjoy the sun. Our favorite passtime was wine & cheese on the terrace enjoying the fabulous views. We can't wait to go back!
