The town of Vence on the Cote d'Azur is a short walk away (200m) with its markets, local produce, antiques, flowers, pottery, and restaurants. The villa with the original tommec floors of the early 1900s was completely renovated and faces the southwest, enjoying the sun for most of the day. The villa is built in the Nicoise tradition and has an outdoor covered eating area which borders the pool. There is a bedroom with double bed on main floor. On the second floor there is the master and a third double bedroom (originally two rooms) joined together by an open archway. The backyard boasts two magnificent palm trees (over 100 years old), a fig tree, and a large deck in terra-cotta. The outdoor covered eating area was once used for the horses which were the means of transportation. With its wood beams and stones from the Bourgogne area of France it is a charming place for the family to eat and play. The home is child friendly and there is a sand box with accompanying toys.

Beautiful home in great location

We stayed at Villa Les Bambous with our three young children and the home was perfect. The house has lots of character and charm, and has also been updated to include all modern conveniences. We loved the outdoor kitchen and eating area, and the yard made a wonderful play area for the kids. The location provides close proximity to the old village of Vence (by foot) and the Fondation Maeght is a quick car ride away. We also enjoyed the easy access to Nice and the Nice airport.

5***** für diese villa. sowohl aussattung wie auch personal waren ausgezeichnet. es war besser wie im online-inserat beschrieben.vermieterin war mehr als eine perfekte gastgeberin und für alle fragen und wünsche offen. wir waren mit 9 personen dort und es war für alle ein super urlaub. das haus bietet alles was man braucht. es ist sehr modern eingerichtet und es ist an alles gedacht worden, was einen urlaub erholsam macht. es war perfekt sauber und 1a gepflegt, einschließlich der pool und garten.vielen dank an rhonda, kristin und jel. wir kommen gerne einmal wieder. gruß silvia
