Located in beautiful Villefranche-sur-mer with panoramic views of Villefranche bay and Nice. Situated in a quiet, prestigious area in the col de Villefranche this 170m2 lovely stone villa has a 1000m2 sunny tranquil garden with an abundance of fruit trees, a lovely shaded terrace, wooden decking, a new 9x4metre pool and a BBQ. This is a perfect summer holiday rental, great for a romantic break or a family holiday. The master bedroom leads on to the upstairs terrace and all three guest bedrooms have private bathrooms - one of which is a studio with its own separate entrance. There is an independent large kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, huge American-style fridge freezer and all amenities. Stunning 35m2 living room with lovely views of the sea. Ample free parking available. A car is required for access to Villefranche old town as the area is hilly but nearby buses do go down to Nice, Beaulieu and Cap Ferrat.

The small town of Villefranche-sur-Mer is located 6km East of Nice. Villa Krisma is situated in a quiet spot in the hills overlooking Villefranche and Nice. Local shops, restaurants, boulangeries and a supermarket can be found at 3km away. Local markets are held in Nice, in Beaulieu and in Villefranche town. There are a wide range of sports activities in the area – golf courses, tennis courts in Villefranche and of course, fishing and water sports like scuba diving. There are boats in nearby Nice Port, that will take you to the Iles Lerins - stunning and unspoil islands just an hour away. The nearest beach is the bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer, which is sandy, suitable for swimming, and has restaurants and cafes for refreshments. There is a fish market down here every morning.

Notes: Beautiful garden with brand new 9x4 Metre pool. Shaded dining area, 75m2 wooden decking area, BBQ, and fruit trees: lemon, orange, plum, apricot, avocado, and delicious grapes from the vine. Living room: Light and spacious, beautifully furnished with original artwork, marble flooring and the mother of all sofas seating 9 people!, There's a lovely big fireplace, a TV with international satellite channels, a DVD and a stereo with loads of English DVD's and CD's. There are floor to ceiling glass doors leading out onto a lovely terrace with stunning views. The kitchen is separated and is exceptionally well equipped with a large 5 ring gas cooker, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, American fridge/freezer with ice machine and chilled water, coffee machine, juice machine, and huge larder with all the herbs and spices you could want. (There are also fresh plants in the garden)

Cote d'Azur - French Riviera Sightseeing: Villa Krisma is ideally placed to visit the most famous places on the Cote d’Azur: Cap Ferrat, Cannes, St Tropez, Monaco and Menton You can drive to Italy in just 30 mins, visit the morning market and bring back some local delicacies. (Florence is only a 4 hour drive away). Further inland you can visit the picturesque villages of Vence, St Paul de Vence, Valbonne, Biot and Mougins. Other entertainment includes the water theme-park near Antibes; Art galleries like the Matisse, the Chagall, the Museum of Modern Art - all in Nice and the famous Picasso museum in Antibes. The Promenade des Anglais ; Casinos and shopping in Monaco; helicopter rides from Monaco; yacht marinas in Villefranche, Cap-Ferrat and Beaulieu; and a huge number of fabulous bars and restaurants in nearby Villefranche, NIce or Monaco - from Jazz on the beach at the Blue Note in Monte Carlo, to the superb michelin-starred Chevre d'Or in the hilltop village of Eze (just 3 km away).

More on the Local Area: For any visitors bringing a dog, there are 3 stunningly beautiful and picturesque nature parks within a mile of the house. The views around here are amazing. There is also a lovely children's playground nearby set in woodland with picnic tables. And if you're a bit of a celebrity spotter - one of our Irish guests recently spent an evening chatting with Bono in a restaurant in Beaulieu - he has a place nearby - and the Beckhams were seen jogging along Villefranche beach this summer. We have an average of 300 days of sunshine down here so you can find yourself wearing a T shirt in February!

July 2007 - Thanks for a fantastic holiday in your beautiful house. We helped ourselves to fresh lemons off the tree every evening for our Gin and Tonics on the terrace! A great find that we would recommend to anyone without reservation. Lovely area and so peaceful. Many thanks, Nancy, Phil and family. Arizona.

We have spent a great two weeks here and are very sad to leave. The location is perfect - really close to Nice but also to the wonderful village of Eze and of course Monte Carlo. The owners recommended a ton of restaurants and places to visit which was great. The villa was exactly what we hoped for - great sea views - huge garden for chilling out and really tasteful designs inside. One of the owners is a painter/photographer and the house is full of her fabulous pictures. We will be coming back again for sure,

Stay at Villa Krisma May 2008

My family and I have just returned from a fabulous weeks stay at Villa Krisma. As soon as we arrived at the villa we fell in love with it and knew we had made a good decision choosing this one. It is very spacious and easily accommodated the 7 of us. We loved the villa decor and the new swimming pool and could have spent the whole week lying by the pool!

During our stay we visited nearby Villafranche-sur-mer, Nice and Monte Carlo - all places I would definately recommend a visit to. We also took a trip to the National Park (5-10mins drive from the villa) and took lots of photos to capture the breath taking views.

We would really recommend you consider staying at Villa Krisma if you are planning a trip to the South of France. We are sure you would love it as much as we did.
