Additional information about rental rates

  • Payment is only accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner/advertiser. Prices are inclusive of bed linen and towels (please bring your own beach towels), meet and greet/check out service. Laundry and full cleaning/ of the apartment are a mandatory charge of 100 euros per stay. Latest check out is 10.00am. check in is after 4pm. For an additional cost we can offer fresh food (milk/bread/cheese/drinks etc) in the fridge for you on arrival. All rates are inclusive of hot water and electricity. A 25% non refundable deposit is requested on booking. The balance is payable 6 weeks before arrival together with breakage deposit of £250(which is cashed); this deposit is refundable within two weeks of the end of your stay. The apartment is decorated and furnished to a high standard and we respectfully ask guests to take care of it. Discounts are available for bookings of more than two weeks, late and long term bookings.
  • CANCELLATION CHARGES: 8 weeks before arrival date: 25% of rental. 4 weeks before arrival date: 50% of rental. 2 weeks before arrival date: Full rental. Checking in is between 3pm - 6pm, checking out is 10am. Discounts are available on winter or long term bookings. There is an additional fee for 'out of hours' check in or out - before 9am and after 7pm will have an additional charge of 20 euros.

Notes: The terrace/balcony has comfortable seating and dining facilities. Inside dining is available - in addition to the breakfast bar there are additional seating stored in one of the cupboards. A car is strongly recommended but for non drivers we can arrange Taxi/airport Collection service - subject to availability at booking. For a small daily fee guests are able to use the private health club on the domain which offers a lovely 25m pool, gym and tennis courts. Please note that some beach towels are provided. The apartment pool is an infinity pool in a perfect location for enjoying the views and peace of the domain. Sun loungers and showers are available at this pool for guests of the apartment. L'Horizons du Grand Duc....: The apartment is situated on a very prestigious Domaine du Grand Duc. This domaine is 75 acres of private villas and apartments - and the area is one of outstanding natural beauty. There is 24 hour security at the gate house to the Domaine. (A beeper, supplied on arrival, allows full access to the Domaine/garage/parking). The Domaine is home to several swimming pools, tennis courts and a gym - in addition to the communal apartment pool. Within minutes of the Domaine you will find the pretty town of La Napoule offering plenty of shops and boulangeries and Mandelieu, which has larger supermarkets like the Casino and the Geant. Further along from the domaine and Mandelieu you will find wonderful beaches and small villages including: Theoule Sur Mer, Port De La Rague and Miramar. We have also made a travel cot available for families with small children. It should be noted that an early or late check in could mean a small additional charge.

Local activities....: In addition to the beautiful and relaxing infinity pool exclusive to the apartments at L'horizons du Grand Duc - there are other facilities available to residents and guests on the Domaine. The tennis, swimming, table tennis and gym offered at the Club house are on offer at a small extra charge. The Cote D'Azur is packed with wonderful places to visit and see. If you are looking for glamour, shopping, great food and people watching - Monaco, St Tropez or Cannes are your destinations. Other hip and trendy places to visit include Antibes & Juan Le Pins - both have great beaches & night life. For children all the local beaches at Theoule, Miramar & Port de la Rague are great. There is load for kids to keep them busy & great swimming, restaurants & water sports to keep parents happy too. There is a fab Marine land at Antibes - with water slides and swimming pools for all ages. The beautiful and ancient towns of Dragingan, Valbonne & Grimaud, St Max & St Tropez are all within a short drive

Eating out....: There is a restaurant for every taste and budget in this part of France. Particular favourites of ours are Le Magellan - a fab beach restaurant on the beach at Theoule. This place allows children and adults to have a great meal and evening. For more glamorous tastes please try the restaurant at the hotel 314 in Cannes. Great food and memorable evening spent on their terrace with really good service. Other places worth considering are Marco Polo also at Theoule and several restaurants at La Napoule including the Michelin starred L'Oasis.

Ski: For skiing and other winter sports there are many ski resorts within a two hour drive of the Domaine offering various levels of activity and terrain for all types of skiing and snowboarding.

Golf: For golfers there are no shortage of courses in this area. The nearest - the Mandelieu Golf Course has two courses - one an 18 hole championship style course and a second course ideal for beginners. For more information please contact:

Palacial Paradise

I visited the apartment with a group of my friends looking to relax, and enjoy the local beaches and attractions. We were very pleased with how ideal the apartment was for all our needs. There were all the necessary cooking utensils to prepare feasts to enjoy out on the balcony as we took in the spectacular view, a fantastic swimming pool which made us feels like goddesses bathing in the Pierian Spring, and a very friendly staff manning the front gate who helped us out with any queries we had across the week.

The apartment was also maintained to a very high standard, and our communications with the owner were helpful, with very clear instructions as to how to get there, and from there into town and to the nearest local beaches.

The neighbours were friendly and kept to themselves, the apartment itself is beautifully laid out to maximise the natural light and has a very sensitive design so that it feels even larger than it is. There were five of us staying in it and it still felt very spacious. The shower was really wonderful with all important high water pressure! The actual decoration of the apartment was also very tasteful - it was unobtrusive and stylish.

There was good literature informing us about local attractions and things to do, and even beach towels and a few cooking necessities like olive oil etc.

All in all we had a very enjoyable stay with none of the usual hitches. My only suggestion is don't get all romantic and fall asleep with the sliding doors open so you can listen to the crickets and frogs as you'll be bitten to smithereens by the mosquitos! I have since recommended the property to my friends and will certainly be returning in future.

A gorgeous hideaway

I spent a lovely, relaxing week in the apartment at the end of September this year. It's a very stylish but also comfortable environment - complete with great, soft beds for flopping into after a sun-drenched day. The view is absolutely beautiful - perfect for a lazy morning breakfast or an evening vin blanc as the twinkling lights slowly appear all around.

Thought it was clean and easy to keep clean, which was good.

The weather was mostly great - just a day or two of rain at the start of the week which quickly cleared. The beaches nearby are great - particularly Port de la Rague, which has a great little cafe and serves delicious salads and frites. There's also a gorgeous swimming pool - really big and has a lovely sunny terrace. Perfect for those lazy days when you don't want to leave the grounds.

Overall - a perfect, quiet environment for retreating from the hussle and bustle.

This apartment fulfilled all its description. Clean, comfortable, wonderful views and efficient. The pool was
indescribably lovely and easily accessible. The whole domain is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and the overriding peace of mind during our holiday was the feeling of complete security at all times. My husband is disabled and the whole experience worked for us.

Brilliant base to explore the area

Having used this apartment twice in the last 18 months, we can safely say that it it is an excellent apartment that is well-maintained and in a good location. The pool and balcony offer spectactular views and although a car is necessary, it offers a brilliant oppourtunity to explore the area. It offers great value for money, as all the ammenities that you need are available and the security gives you peace of mind. We greatly enjoyed our stays and highly recommeded this property.

We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet,safe and modern holiday apartment.The apartment was large,bright,clean with all the required amenities needed for your convenience.The building and surrounding grounds were well-maintained.Having breakfast on the balcony with views of the surrounding mountains and the Mediteranean was a great way to begin the day.The large infinity pool was located next to the building. It was very clean and well-maintained. Security for the apartment complex begins at a secure gate with attendant and continues with top notch security at the apartment.We were met at the security gate by the owner's rep.who was very helpful showing us the workings of the apartment amenities as well as directions for local sites and restaurants.A car is required because of the apartments location.We had a wonderful time at this location and would certainly return.We had easy access to the owner via email and phone.The website provided us with amble and accurate information.A Real Gem.
