Situated between St Tropez and the Gorges du Verdon, this well equipped apartment on the ground floor of a villa, in an enclosed big garden of 3500m2 with many trees: oaks, fruit trees, and 130 olives trees with a vast stone private terrace looking over a big saline swimming- pool 11,50m /6,50 m, is a superb base for wonderful holidays. Relaxing in the sunshine, walking in the beautiful countryside, visiting the coast or taking a swim in the sea (only 30mn drive away) you need never be bored in this beautiful area. “Villa Laurent” is our home & was built in 1968 by my parents. It’s a large villa – our accommodation is upstairs & below we let this apartment.

Notes to the rental rates

• Prices are fully inclusive off all linen including pool towels, electricity and all charges .
  25% deposit payable when booking( payment to be made by bank transfer)in €. The balance to be paid 4 weeks before the holiday commences or in cash on your arrival. A damage / cleaning deposit of 100€ is payable with the balance. This will be repaid in cash on your departure. All bank charges must be paid by the client.With SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) the charges are very lower.Ask for it to your bank.

Leisure activities - Inland

You can relax in your vast, private garden surrounded by olive trees (3500 m2). You can swim in the big salt swimming- pool (11,50 m / 6,50m ). You can sun bathe on the loungers. You can play boules on the boule court (a set of boules is supplied). You can play ping pong on the ping pong table (bats and balls are supplied) or you can walk to the village to play tennis. If you wish to be more active the closest 18 hole golf course is at La Motte, canoeing at Les Arcs, fishing at Carces, swimming and sailing on the coast (St Raphaël, Ste Maxime). You can also visit the marvellous Verdon River with its great canyon (only one hour drive away). Or in autumn, if you want , you can pick olives in our olive grove.

Leisure activities – coastal region

Trans is just a short drive from Ste Maxime, St Raphaël and St Tropez (30 km) .The islands of Porquerolles and Port Cros and les calanques de Cassis are wonderful. If you wish to visit the cities of Nice, Cannes, Monté Carlo, Toulon , Aix en Provence or Marseille you can do so in a day.

About us

We are two retired teachers with two grown up children . We spend our time tending our olive trees. I am learning English but I don’t speak it very fluently. So I prefer to correspond with you by e-mail. However, I would enjoy speaking English with you during your holidays in Trans. If you need to phone me, please speak very slowly. We would be delighted to welcome you, to advise you on our wonderful area for lovely holidays. there is an 18 hole golf course at La Motte (7kms) I n Winter you can go skiing at the many ski resorts close by: Isola 2000, Auron, Val d'allos 2 hour's drive, price around 20.80€ - 27€ par jour.
