A warm welcome awaits you in the heart of Provence. Relax in a self-contained spacious and modern self-catering apartment that has a large private terrace on the garden level of the British owners’ villa that is set on a hillside on the edge of one of the oldest villages in Provence. The covered terrace gives a view overlooking the olive trees on the large terraced garden to the village and the hills of the Massif des Maures beyond and can be enjoyed throughout the year for dining, relaxing and watching spectacular sunsets. The independent apartment has a private entrance leading to a large comfortable sitting room, a well equipped kitchen and dining area, a spacious shower room/WC and separate WC and two large bedrooms. The sitting room and the bedrooms have doors that open onto the terrace. There is private parking. Linen and towels provided. It is an ideal base for house hunters and the owners are happy to share their knowledge of the area with you.

Lorgues is ideally situated, surrounded by Cotes de Provence chateaux vineyards and olive groves, between the spectacular natural beauty of the Gorges de Verdon, Europe’s Grand Canyon, and stylish St Tropez yet only one hours drive from two airports. A scenic walk takes you to the village where you will find a variety of shops, banks, pharmacies, a public swimming pool a wine cooperative and olive mill. You can stroll down the lanes of the medieval village, enjoy café society outside one of the cafés and sample the Provencal cuisine at one of the many restaurants that have a wide choice of menus and prices. Lorgues has its weekly Provencal market that is one of the largest and most popular in the area. The Provencal love of art, music and wine is sensed everywhere. Marked country walks, tennis, riding and swimming are all available locally. For those who want to swim, windsurf, sail or canoe away from the bustle at the coast the picturesque Lac St Croix is at about an hours drive.

The coast can be reached by a scenic drive in forty minutes. The changeover day is flexible but you may like to plan your stay so that you are here to join in the numerous free weekend festivities that are held throughout the year in Lorgues and the surrounding villages. I recently stayed here with my parents and we had a fabulous time. The location was perfect for us as we explored the neighboring towns and coast, as well as the Grand Canyon. The apartment was lovely and spacious with all mod cons and a great outdoor space where we spent many hours eating and drinking. The website photo's dont do it justice! Thanks Ria!

A beautiful Villa Apartment set on a hillside with picturesque views over Lorgues. The Villa has everything you need with a lovely balcony, garden, BBQ, is very well presented and is in a quiet and peaceful location. Some lovely restaurants and cafes in the town of Lorgues which you can walk to from the Apartment and not too far a drive to the beaches (Frejus and St. Raphael were our favourites). Would recommend for a peaceful break.

Property clean and well maintained. Great view of the village. good size for 4 people. All rooms are facing the garden.

Owners provided great help thought the process. Very useful that they live just above and can be contacted if needed at any time.

Apartment fully fitted with lost of books and DVDs.

Big terraced garden with fitted BBQ.

Would recommend it to any one.

Warm welcome, excellent hosts and accommodation is immaculate just as the description. Only French TV but you should be enjoying the wine and scenery. Good walking from the door, easy access to the town though the road is steep at first.
