2r. apartment in Provencal style on the first floor of a village house from XVII century, newly renovated with beautiful ceilings, genuine beams, small alcoves and stone walls, comprising a hall w/ cupboard and hanging-wardrobe, fully equipped kitchen, lounge w/eating area and bed sofa for 2, a large bedroom w/queen size bed and removable cot, big cupboards and hanging wardrobe, shower room w/2 hand-basins and tiled shower (not suitable for XL pers), separate toilet totally tiled. Cool in the summer and central heating for winter use. Cellar on the bottom floor w/2 locked spaces and place for cycles or ski etc. Located in the middle of the old Lorgues, quiet quarter, public parking spot in front. Near shops, banks, restaurants, bars and all kind of services. Possibility to use the owners pool at 3km. Lorgues offers a tremendous variation of activities and entertainments. Known for its big weekly market, the medieval remains, its vineyards and genuine culture life near sea & mountain

The medieval village of Lorgues is situated in Centre Var, 30km from sea side, 100km from Nice airport, 120km from Marseille airport, 15km from the A8 motorway, 10km from a main railway station (Les Arcs-Draguignan) as well as near mountains and the Verdon canyon. The parish has grown up to a comfortable living area with all kind of services without loosing its character of village (95 associations). In the middle of the vineyard district of Côtes de Provence and olive trees farming, it offers all sorts of attractions and excursion possibilities. You can reach any part of Provence within a day drive, back and forth, and still be able to stop all the way to visit historical sites, famous restaurants, beautiful islands or well known beaches. Half-day excursions are numerous too, also shopping centres of all kind, sports for all tastes and ages and cultural events. Warm in summer and often nice in winter you can enjoy the sun approx. 300 days/year and the tremendous light of this area.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Prices are all included except for an heating fee between November and March. An agreement will be sent in 2 copies, one copy to be signed by the renter and returned to the owner with 30% of the rental cost, to settle the reservation, the rest to be paid on arrival. An inventory list and a description with map will be sent together with the agreement. A security deposit of 200 euros is to be paid on arrival day for short holiday rental, 695 euros (1 month rental) for long term rental .
    The apartment is available on arrival day after 3.00 pm and departure day not later than 10.00 am unless otherwise agreed upon. The normal changeover day is Saturday if not otherwise agreed. The cleaning is to be made by the renter as to the agreement or a fee of 75 euros will be collected from the deposit. The security deposit will be refunded to the renter on departure day unless damages have been caused (see agreement).
  • For long term rental, 1 month or more (between November and March), prices will be 695 euros/month plus net electricity consumption at 0,18 euros/kw. 30% of the rental cost will settle the reservation. The rest is to be paid on arrival day. A security deposit of 695 euros is to be paid on arrival day and will be refunded to the renter on departure day unless damages have been caused (see agreement) or cleaning has not been done properly.
    A wireless Internet access is available (USB key w/instructions how to fill it in).

Comfortable sofa bed for 2 in the lounge with individual bedding as well as double bed bedding.
