La Marjolaine is a pretty villa set in the countryside of the central Var, less than 30 minutes from the beaches of the Cote D'Azur and also about 45 minutes from the stunning Gorge du Verdon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verdon_Gorge) and close to many delightful villages that abound in this area. It is set in a calm, quiet area only minutes from vineyards and many degustation opportunities! The self-contained apartment for up to 4 people is the whole lower floor of the Villa, directly opposite the Pool and Patio area and has its own car parking and entrance. Hirers have use of pool, BBQ and garden areas. The Villa is in a quiet Quartier with lovely views south over the Maures hills. The pool area is completely private and not overlooked by anyone. Kathy & Alan, the owners live above the apartment in the house and will endeavour to do all they can to make your stay welcoming and enjoyable.

The Villa is ideally situated just 5 minutes from exit 36 (St Tropez/Draguignan) on the A8 Autoroute, and only 45 minutes drive from Nice Airport. Less than 30 minutes south are the beautiful Mediterranean beaches of the Cote D'Azur, with St Maxime being the closest. Here can also be found a large variety of restaurants and bars, and access to all kinds of water sports & activities associated with beach life. Driving about 30 minutes north will find you in the stunning region of the Gorge Du Verdon, second only to the Grand Canyon in scale and beauty. Within a 1 hour radius, you can find yourself in Cannes, Antibes, Juan les Pins, Nice and Monaco to the East, while West will lead you to Aix-en-Provence, Marseilles, Toulon. There are numerous medieval villages in the area, all offering typical Provencal charm and beauty, of course, we are in the centre of the Provence vineyards, & within a 15 minute driving radius there are too many local vineyards & wineries to mention!

Additional Information: In addition to the many other activities already mentioned, we are of course in the centre of the Provence vineyards, and within a 15 minute driving radius there are too many local vineyards and wineries to list. Suffice to say, you will not be disappointed if Wine tasting is your passion! Quite close by you can go horse riding, canoeing, fishing, and there are 6 superb Golf courses within an hours drive, with the best being only 10 minutes away! This also boasts a very comfortable Spa, so maybe partners can indulge in both! In short, you can satisfy most interests easily within a short drive from the villa. Should you wish to just chill out & relax, the house is set in a delightfully calm, quiet area, & the pool & surrounding patio is completely private and secluded, and is ideal for quiet lazy days improving the tan or reading under the Olive trees.
