Photos and Description of this Port-Grimaud holiday apartment 1 bedroom & sofabed in lounge, sleeps 2-3. Shower room with basin, wc & washer

Lovely ground floor, waterside apartment. Sit on the patio and watch the boats go by in quiet relaxation, then take a wander up to the beach or Port centre. The apartment has one bedroom with twin beds (we normally push them together), and a good quality sofabed in the lounge. The Kitchen has a large fridge-freezer, ceramic hob, microwave oven and plenty of cutlery and crockery. The shower room has a high quality tiled corner shower, wash basin, w.c and a washing machine. There is also an drying stand and clothes iron, making travelling light very easy. There is a patio table and chairs, which are easily moved outside. The patio has a wind out awning to give shade at the hottest part of the day. There is also direct access straight out onto the quayside path. A private parking space accessed through a security coded barrier. Bed linen and towels are available at extra cost. The Beach, local shops, restaurants and bars all within a 5 minute stroll. Venice - Provencal style.

Port Grimaud is the beautiful provencal marina port conceived and designed by visionary architect Francois Spoerry. There are two private beaches. A ferry leaves several times a day for the 20 minute ride to St.Tropez. The Maures mountains provide spectacular scenery and backdrop, and great walking and wine tasting country. Just along the coast is Ste.Maxime and within easy reach by car (or boat) the hustle and bustle of Cannes, Nice and Monaco.

Clean, functional and good location

We spent a lovely week here. Apartment is small but well laid out. Kitchen and bathroom are clean and everything is there that you might need. suitable for an older couple as there's not much wardrobe space. Bedroom is tiny and rather a lot of noise from road and pub outside the compound late at night unless the windows are closed, in which case it is very hot. Lots of mozzies on the last two nights meant that we had to keep windows closed and fry! Good to have a private parking space behind locked gates. Owner was helpful and provided a local number we could call for help if we needed anything. If we go again, we'll take an insect spray and earplugs!
Overall, a cute little apartment for a week's stay.
We took the ferry to St Tropez but were disappointed in the prices and restaurants,and couldn't wait to get back to PG - felt much more at home there. Good little markets on a few mornings to browse round. Still didn't find a supermarket to stock up on food so ate out a lot. Restaurants were ok, great location by waterside but food not anything to write home about.
