FLAYOSC - Medieval village on triangle between between Draguignan, Lorgues & Salernes. Only a 20 minute drive from J36 of the A8 autoroute, and on the wine route of the VAR. Ideally placed at the gateway to the high Var region for picturesque villages and the dramatic Gorges du Verdon. Close by to Chateau de Berne, Lorgues and not too far from the coast at St Raphael, Frejus and St Tropez. Once here, leave the car, and walk to the village by a shady canal side path. For days out, we are ideally placed for all the attractions of the area, and have maps and guide books for you to borrow. If you are PROPERTY HUNTING, we are centrally located for all areas of the VAR and greater Provence, and can put you in touch with good local estate agents.

At other times, we will be pleased to accommodate children under 12 in Bed & Breakfast accommodation only. Children must have own room - we do not have extra beds for parents rooms. We aim to provide a peaceful and tranquil environment where our guests can enjoy doing nothing if they wish, or being as active as they want to be. You will de-stress, and go home refreshed and wishing you could have stayed longer. We will help with any reasonable request, and can book restaurants and activities to suit you. Wonderful walking area, with marked trails and hidden beauty all around. We have guide books, maps and a wealth of knowledge. Many, many returning guests each year. Now in our seventh year at this address.

Area Facilities: Within easy walking distance of FLAYOSC village. House is cool in summer and warm in winter (log fires and central heating). Large pool & boules at the house. Trout lake and golf courses nearby. Short drive to beaches at Frejus, St Raphael, St Tropez or to spectacular Gorges du Verdon. Skippered or self-drive (with permit) boats available at preferential rates to our guests. FREE wine tasting and tour of nearby wine producing domain. Winter skiing about 75 minutes. 10 km to mainline station for TGV/Eurostar (Can collect). Resident English owners with fluent French. Open all year. For B&B arrive any day - stay any length of time. For self-catering the normal rental is weekly Sat -Sat, but we will try to help if you want other start/end dates, especially in low season. Call us with what you have in mind.

Accommodation options: All BED & BREAKFAST bedrooms are self-contained and have hairdryers, toiletries, fluffy towels, crisp linen and your very own TEA/COFFEE facilities for that 'Real English' cup of tea! Rooms are available all day, and comfortable sitting area at all times. In our SELF CATERING SUITES we provide a welcome pack of essentials on arrival, and offer extra cleaning and linen/towel changes on demand for a small extra charge.

Arrival procedure: For BED & BREAKFAST rooms, you may check in any day from 16.00 hr to suit you or your travel arrangements. Our SELF CATERING SUITES are available from 16.00 hr Saturdays. We regret that your stay must end no later than 11.00 hrs on departure day from all accommodation, but we will be happy for you to enjoy our pool and garden until much later in the day if you wish to linger a while longer. In low season we will be happy to provide longer or shorter stays in our self catering suites.
