Attractive and Spacious Country Cottage in Provence

Situated in its own 3/4 acre gated garden and south facing, 'Les Restanques' (furnished in provencale style)is surrounded by mature trees on 3 sides with views to the south across an olive grove and vineyards to distant hills. It has a small swimming pool, large terrace with BBQ and ample parking. It is not overlooked. The area has excellent A.O.C. wines, olive oil, and black truffles! Less than 5 mins by car is the ancient town of Lorgues with its famous market, shops and restaurants. 20 mins from A8 motorway and 1 hr west of Nice. A comfortable and relaxed country holiday at any time of year, with a true taste of Provence.

Dining

10 mins walk away is the Michelin starred restaurant 'Bruno'- the speciality is truffles. In the town there are approx. 10 restaurants for all budgets, and a great pizza take away 'Pizza Olive' (we use it all the time!). There are a dozen Chateaux and wine domaines close by, including the wine co-ops of Lorgues and Taradeau.

Golf and leisure

There are more than a dozen golf courses in the area-details in the cottage. Tennis and horse riding less than 5 mins. Bicycle hire in town.

Entertainment

Chateau de Berne holds jazz and classical concerts during the summer. The town of Lorgues have events throughout the year. There are concerts and art exhibitions held at many chateaux (mostly during summer)
