The hamlet Prat Bourdin, just 2 kms South of Plan de la Tour ,off the road to Grimaud ,is one of 35 hamlets attached to Plan de la Tour ,a village in the true Provencal style and character ,with a population of 2300 ,is surrounded by wine growing and mountainous countryside and woods of oak and pines. The air is of good quality little humidity,and a little freshness in the evenings due to the well-known winds, the 'Mistral' ,'Tramontane 'and the fair-weather' Ponan' .Good beaches and marinas are 15/20 minutes away and the mythic village of St. Tropez with its famous beaches and night life are 20 Kms away . Easy visits to 12th century abbayes and to the enormous Verdon Canyon can be mde in a day . Nice, Cannes ,Toulon and historic Aix-en-Provence are all at one hour drives. Summer festivals and special events are numerous( concerts, theatres,parades, evening dances etc)

Situation/Attractions: Situated 2 kilometres from the Provencal village of Plan de la Tour, shops, doctors, dentist, pharmacy,numerous restaurants, weekly open market. Fabulous sight-seeing area, lakes, canyons, chateaux, abbeys, etc … The hamlet is quiet, attractive and has many walking tracks. Two-level cottage, beamed open kitchen - sitting room, dining room includes 2 single sofa beds and a balcony. Down stairs is one bedroom with en suite shower, toilet large terrace and laundry area. Easy access to all surrounding towns and country by car, and to St .Tropez,St Raphael,Port Grimaud,and sea excursions by ferry from Ste Maxime Golf courses,tennis courts are close by. When booking please indicate ages and sex of children to check for suitability

Driving Directions: Driving Directions: Coming from Nice or Aix-en Provence, you take the Autoroute A8 and exit at LE MUY. Then, take the direction for Ste Maxime/St. Tropez for some 20 Kms. Take a right turn for Plan de la Tour. In that town, turn left in the direction of Grimaud. Exactly 2 Kms on that road, turn left at the red fire hydrant for PRAT BOURDIN. About 200 meters further, turn into the hamlet on the right and look for the Villa DARANA. The hamlet is opposite a small parking area and mail boxes.
