Bastide Les Micocouliers is a delightful individual Provencal farmhouse situated on a hill overlooking the village. One of its key attractions is its close proximity to the village whilst maintaining a private and secluded atmosphere. There is a private swimming pool, 30ft by 15ft, surrounded by a large patio area with layout chairs, tables etc. The pool is enclosed with a low discreet fence(sufficient to deter the little ones). There is a traditional stone table under the trees beside the swimming pool, for those long lunches, as well as a large semi shaded patio at the rear of the house. There is also a boule pitch, table tennis and many other items to help keep all the family occupied, plus a large barbecue. The house lies in 2 acres of land, has three double bedrooms and a fourth smaller room perfect for young children, 2 bathrooms, separate WC, sitting room, kitchen/dining room equipped with fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, hob, electric oven & microwave.

Location

Bastide Les Micocouliers is situated overlooking the medieval village of Carces. It lies approximately 15 km from Brignoles, a junction on the A8. The two airports of Nice and Marseilles are both within one and half hours from the property. St Tropez and Saint Maxine are less than an hour away, with Aix en provence only 50 minutes in the other direction.

Activities

The property offers a perfect base for exploring Provence and the Cote d'Azur. There are numerous local markets including Carces on Saturday morning, perfect for fresh produce as well as items unique to the area. Carces wine is sold at the village cooperative, however there are numerous Domaines and vineyards in the area where you can both taste and purchase. There are many good restaurants in the area, including a couple within walking distance of the house. The area boasts the magnificent Gorges du Verdon, with its many activities including white water rafting, kayaking and boating-a mere one hour away. There are also two golf courses approximately half an hour away. Carces also has its own tennis club, with 6 courts to hire. Outside, the house has a large swimming pool, layout chairs, table tennis, bicycles, a bbq and a boule pitch, inside a TV, numerous books, junior snooker table and other games.

Terms and Conditions

The rates for the property include water, electricity, linen, towels(however beach towels are not provided) and a change of sheets and towels mid rental. If your phone bill exceeds £5.00 you will be billed accordingly for the total amount. A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking with the balance due 8 weeks before the booking commences. In addition to the deposit a damages cheque for £250.00 is required with the final payment. This will not be cashed unless any damages are recorded at the end of the rental period.
