Moissac Bellevue is a hilltop village set in magnificent countryside in the Haut Var region of Provence, close to Aups, within the Parc Naturel Régional du Verdon, just 15 minutes drive from the 11km long Lac Ste Croix with its beaches, water sports and the stunning Gorges du Verdon. Close by are other bustling Provençal villages including Régusse, Tourtour, Salernes, Cotignac, Moustiers Ste Marie and Villecroze, vibrant markets and acres of lavender fields and vineyards. Aix en Provence, Nice, Marseilles, Fréjus and St Tropez are all within 1 - 1.5 hours drive.

She can also arrange for additional cleaning and other services such as babysitting, cooking and so on, by arrangement directly with her.

This is an ideal location for those wanting to experience the food, wine, charm and bustle of Provençal village life, while being only 15 minutes from the Gorges du Verdon and the activities offered in and around the 11 kilometre-long lake. You will find numerous beaches and secluded coves for swimming and sunbathing, as well as places (in the summer season) to hire pedalloes, kayaks, canoes and electric boats to take you into the gorge itself.

You might also like to try white-water rafting, sailing, climbing or paragliding. Alternatively, we are surrounded by great walking and cycling country to suit most abilities, and horse-riding is available nearby too.

And nearby are vineyards and lavender fields......and the Med is only an hour away!

Golf Information:

We aren't golfers ourselves, but understand that the nearest good golf-courses are at Barbaroux, near Brignoles, and St Endreol, near Le Muy / Draguignan (45 mins to 1 hour away by car). There are more at St Raphael and around Mougins and Cannes (allow 1 - 1.5 hours). More info on request.

Perfection in Provence

This property is the one that we all hope we are getting when we rent online. It was exactly what it said on the tin! Perfectly situated for lots of sight seeing, beautifully maintained, and wonderful spacious rooms with lots of books and great music, every taste was catered for. It is situated near lots of wonderful hill villages with markets on a weekly basis. The local village is within walking distance and is very small, just one bar and no bakery, you place an order for bread the night before in the bar, this is a bit of a drawback as you tend to feel its hardly worth it if you're just there for a week, but there are two largish supermarkets 5 minutes drive away. This house is really perfect for those wanting to relax. A car is essential tho' and visits to local markets and restaurants add to the experience. There is a gourmet restaurant within walking distance, and a local agent to welcome you to the property and be on hand should you need her. We also had our dogs with us, an enclosed garden and tiled floors . meant we could relax We were also blessed with great weather, but this house would be equally attractive in the heart of winter. I would thoroughly recommend it, we enjoyed day trips to Nice, Frejus and St. Tropez and next time will venture up the Gorge du Verdon!
