The pool is surrounded by an attractive decked area which is perfect for sunbathing and enjoying the spectacular views of the valley below. All in all, La Kouale provides the perfect retreat for a relaxing family holiday.

Restaurants: If you can drag yourself away from La Kouale for an evening out, there are a number of excellent and varied restaurants to try in the Bras area. These range from the finest haute cuisine at the Michelin starred Alain Ducasse restaurant at La Celle (15 minutes), the unique experience of dining amidst the cloisters of the famous basilica at St Maximin (15 minutes) to several good local eating places in the surrounding towns and villages. If you cannot drag yourself away from La Koale, try the take away pizzeria in Bras - the pizzas are fantastic!

Golf Information:

High quality golf is within easy reach of La Kouale, with 7 available golf courses within approximately 45 minutes drive. The nearest course is the Pete Dye-designed course at Barbaroux (15 minutes) which was described by Golf World Magazine «as one of those rare courses where virtually every hole is memorable in itself and where the greens are lightening fast and very true. If there is one course in France on which I could play for the rest of my life, it would be Barbaroux ». Other courses not to be missed in the area are at St. Endreol (45 mins), La Sainte Baume (20 mins) and the wonderful Fregate course on the coast (approximately 1 hour). Each course has its own very good restaurant on-site. Further information, including details on the 3 or 5 round “Golf Provence Pass” for discounted green fees, can be provided to guests on request.
