Situated 55min west of Nice airport and 15min from junc 36 on the A8. Our house occupies an acre of south facing woodland and offers privacy and seclusion. It has a large living room and dining area that opens onto a covered terrace which overlooks the valley vineyards and the village of Figanieres. The house is central for visiting the Riviera coastline and the inland attractions of the Gorge Du Verdon and Lac de St Croix. St Endreol golf course is 15min drive away or there is tennis, cycle rental and horse riding in Figanieres. The 10m x 5m infinity pool occupies a magnificent hillside location and provides superb panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The house is continually up-graded and has been recently refurbished and furnished to a high standard. Local restaurants are within walking distance and there are numerous restaurants at Les Arcs, Le Muy and Draguignan all within 15min drive. Excellent Wine Domaines are 10min drive away and all offer Wine tasting.

Figanieres is a small, sleepy French rural village with 2 small supermarkets, 2 boulangeries, post office, tourist office, restaurant, pharmacy, wine bar and Wine Cooperative. The village is 3min drive or a 30min vineyard walk from the house. The house is ideally located for visiting the glamorous Cote D'Azur, Cannes, Antibes and St Tropez are 40min away, St Raphael, Frejus & Aqua-Park at Ste Maxime are 30 mins away. For those who prefer a more scenic environment the Gorges du Verdon (the French Grand Canyon) and the Lac Ste Croix (the largest lake in France) offer sailing, white water rafting and kayaking & are 45min away. More locally is the Abbaye du Thoronet and the waterfall of Sillans La cascade. Typical Provencal markets can be found on Sunday morning at Le Muy (15min) or Thursday morning at Les Arcs (15min) & every morning at Draguignan (15min). Draguignan is a busy market town and also offers banks, larger supermarkets, a theatre, many restaurants and smart shops.

  • Rental rates are payable in Sterling or Euros by a simple bank transfer. Confirmation of bookings should be accompanied by a deposit of 25% & the full balance due 8 weeks before date of travel. A damage security deposit of £300 or 400 euros will be required & refunded 2 weeks following your return. Longer term rental rates available on request. Towels and linen are included as are the pool towels. End of Stay cleaning included. Property is available from 4pm on the day of arrival & vacated by 10am on departure. Cot and high chair available. (Please request on booking). Gas and electricity is included except in the low season for the electricity where there would be a charge per unit for stays in November to March.For the wood burning fire, logs are free. Pets are welcome, on agreement with the Owner (but not on the furniture or the beds!) Please arrange to have your own travel /medical Insurance. Our house is a non-smoking property.

Notes: The house sleeps 4-6 people, contains a fully equipped kitchen, large 35m² lounge/dining with wood burning fire (Logs included) and a separate mezzanine floor for use as a bedroom with a large sofa-bed. A double bedroom with king size bed and en-suite shower room. A 2nd double bedroom with twin beds and an adjacent 2nd shower room. Both shower rooms are new with larger than usual showers. A 2nd large sofa-bed is in the lounge if required. Accessed from the kitchen & the lounge, the 25m² covered terrace is equipped with a large dining table and 6 chairs, reclining chairs and a gas BBQ. All rooms and the terrace enjoy panoramic views over the valley vineyards. Positioned on the hillside behind the house the 10m x 5m infinity pool provides space for relaxing & includes a 15cm deep beach area for the youngest children to play safely. The surrounding 140m² of sun terrace is equipped with 6 sun beds, table, 6 chairs & umbrellas and provides the ultimate area to relax in.

Golf Course locations: Montfleurie is centrally located for golf enthusiasts with 8 courses from 15 mins to 45 mins drive. The nearest is St Endreol at La Motte and is 15 mins away. It is a superb setting & players of all levels would find it a pleasure. Golf Roquebrune is 25 mins away & is a very challenging course. The 2 courses at St Maxime, Beauvallon Golf Club and Sainte-Maxime Golf Course, and the 2 courses at St Raphael. Golf De l'Esterel and Golf de Valescure can all be reached in 35 Mins. Golf de Barbaroux at Brignoles is 40 mins away. All courses offer green fees by the day and reductions for multiple days (5 to 10 days). All courses offer lower green fees at the twilight time (3hrs before sunset), so it is worth enquiring when booking. At St Raphael there is also a family golf club. It has a 9 hole par 29 course with 2 putting greens and other facilities include tennis, archery, a pool, mountain bikes & a children’s club. If any client requires further information I can research on their behalf.

Golf Courses details: ( All Green fee’s on request ) Saint-Endreol at La Motte is a par 72 over 6219 metres and is appropriate for all levels. Green fees for 18 holes @ 65 euros & 10 green fees @ 560 euros. Golf Roquebrune is a par 72 course with some technical challenges. The Green fees at this course are particularly good, e.g. 52 euros for 18 holes (47 euros Oct-March) 10 green fees = 420 euros. Golf Beauvallon Golf Club at St Maxime was built in 1927, it is a par 70 over 5919 metres. It's neighbour is Golf de Sainte Maxime and is a par 71 course over 6102 metres. There are 2 courses at St Raphael, Golf de l' Esterel is on the hills above the coast and is a par 71 over 5825 metres. The other St Raphael course is Golf de Valescure, it also has a tennis club. It is a tricky par 68 over 6051 metres & was built in 1895. Golf De Barbaroux near Brignoles is a par 72 over 6367 metres with many water holes & dog legs, it is something to get your teeth into. If clients require further information, please ask.

Other Activities: Water Sports at Lac De Cassien are 30 Mins away, Lac de Ste Criox offers white water rafting and Kayaking.

Beautiful House - the ideal place to chill!!!

My partner and I spent a relaxing week at the property at the beginning of October. It really is a stunning property - even better than the pictures!!!!
THe house itself is very clean, well furnished & maintained and alhough it is very cosy it is well equipped with all the mod cons. ( Sky TV, BBQ, Hi Fi) Outside is the "show stopper" the views are simply amazing - especially from the infinity pool, where we spent most afternoons drinking cocktails!!! There is plenty of outdoot furniture, which is of a high standard.

The area is very quiet - which is just what we wanted, but just a short drive ( 5 mins ) you are in the local village where we where able to buy fresh bread evrery day, there is also a small super market, but I would suggest travelling to one of the big super markets for a big shop!!!
We did venture out to the local pizzeria ( about 15mins walk) a couple of nights which was great food, service and value for money.
We are also both keen tennis players and we where able to play every day at the local tennis club for a nominal charge. ( 5 mins car journey).

Lastly before we made our reservation Alma ( the proprietor) was only happy to help with our questions and queries.

If you are debating whether to book this property - think no more - you really won't be dis appointed.

Relaxing oasis gets our thumbs up!

We booked our holiday in this property because we wanted a relaxing holiday away from it all.The views from the hillside location and the pool are what attracted us.
The property is exactly as described and we arrived to find it clean and welcoming. Once stocked up from the local supermarket, we had everything we needed. We could have stayed there the entire two weeks and only left the property to buy fresh milk and bread from the local village.
After the first week we felt re-charged and so went to St Tropez and Cannes on seperate occasions (both about 30-40mins drive). In this respect the property is perfect for us as we wanted an oasis but with the chance to see the Cote D'Azur when we felt the need.
The house itself is well laid out with the living room and the kitchen both opening out onto a covered terrace with lovely views to be enjoyed morning or evening. But the highlight and the reason we will re-book has to be the pool, we spent every minute we could there, enjoying the views, swimming and reading. The shallow kids area was very useful and our 2 yr old enjoyed playing in the water. Its well fenced and has lockable gates so it was not a worry when we were not around the pool.
If your idea of a holiday is swimming, reading and relxing you will love this property.

We had a wonderful holiday in Montfleurie. The house was very beautiful, clean and complete. We enjoyed the lovely swimming pool with the very nice view. A great place to be.

A week in paradise............

We had a truly amazing week at Montfleurie. The information we received prior to our visit was first class and very detailed. Alma and Greg were most helpful from our first booking enquiry. The quality of information and maps etc was fantastic and started to paint a picture of what was to come many weeks before our holiday. The holiday itself and the villa was the best we have ever had in every respect!!! The villa was exactly as described and it was spottlesly clean and very well maintained. It has a real welcoming house feel. The bedrooms are airy and spaceous and the well equipped bathrooms are ideal. The living room is 'home from home' with all the entertainment facilities you could wish for. The mezzanine provided the perfect way to the pool area and gardens. The gardens are very pretty and superbly maintained. The infinity pool was the highlight of our stay at Montfleurie, it's simply paradise!!. The view over the vineyards towards the hills, whilst we were bathing must be experienced to be believed, for it is certainly amazing, relaxing and out of this world. We couldn't imagine a more scenic or peaceful location for our holiday. Also the view from the terrace at the front of the house is outstanding and we would simply enjoy our evening meal with a glass of wine and admire the views. The access road to the house is 'interesting' but nothing you wouldn't expect from a hillside location. The house is private and secluded and not overlooked by any other property. We had a lovely walk through the vineyards to the village of Figanieres. The weather during our stay was fantastic, typical of the south of france. On reflection my family and I decided that our holiday at Montfleurie was simply the best holiday we have ever had!!! Thank you Alma and Greg
