The property (6700 m2) is located on the hillsides, at 4.5 km from the medieval village of Seillans & 8 km from the medieval village of Bargemon. Enjoying breathtaking 180° views over the villages set in the hills & the Esterel mountains (all the way until the sea), away from disturbing noises but nevertheless not isolated, the property provides an extreme sense of freedom. Seillans is recognised as one of the most beautiful villages of France. It is set in the midst of wonderful countryside & will astonish you with its labyrinths of cobbled streets, rustic portals, shaded courts & ancient fountains. There are many good restaurants in the area including several with Michelin stars. Whilst situated in a haven of tranquillity & beauty, the property is only 50 mins from Nice airport & 30 minutes from Cannes. Beaches Frejus-St.Raphael 45 min, lac St. Cassien 20 min, St. Tropez just over an hour, Gorges du Verdon 1.15 hours. The area is ideal for golfing, Terre Blanche 15 min.

Had a great week here in May, Villa was everything we had hoped for, the girls enjoyed trips to Grasse and Monte. Lunch 1,000's of feet up on the cliffs edge at Rougon, Canyon du Verdon was a highlight as was dinner at Hotel les Deux Rocs. We managed to swim each day as the weather was scorchio. Overall a super property both in terms of location and facilities. Recommended.

We've just come home after a great week in this fantastic house. The view is really spectacular and must be seen. All of us, 5 adults and 2 children from 3 months up to 72 years old had a great time.

Before making the reservation we had some doubts about the steep bank others had warned for. But despite that our oldest son is only 3,5 years old and always exploring the neighbourhood, everything went well and we were never worried once we got there.

A relaxing 'away from it all'

We took our break in March 2009, weather was beautiful which helps as the views are absolutely breathtaking. The pictures are exactly representative of the villa. It is a little stark with few home comforts....a rug in the lounge and more subtle lighting would make it feel less empty and hollow.

The kitchen was well equipped and the cooker, at first sight, is daunting, but is scarily efficient.

The outside space remains unfinished... outside the lounge is a patio with approx a metre drop. The approach to the property is therefore less spectacular than the amazing view when you enter.

In March, there isn't a huge amount to do in the local area i.e. Seillans and Bargemon.... but it is only 40 minutes to Cannes and Frejus which help you get a little more life.

The owner was extremely helpful. Would certainly recommend it.

Breathtaking

In the last two years we have been four times to Seillans.
We have been there at the end of January when the hills were yellow because of the mimosa. Romantic hours at the fireplace.
In May, wonderfull weather, a very good time to go to the coast. It is so quiet than. Spring is in the air.
This year we were there in the first week of July as the air was filled with the smell of lavender. But also in August is it a very nice place, always a cool breeze and enough shade.
It is a beautifull house, it feels to us like home. But the most exciting is the view. You can sit there for hours, or hanging over the edge of the swimmingpool looking at the spectacular panorama. When the sky is clear you can even see the sea.

Just back from a wonderful stay at this villa!
Pictures shown on the net were real, the views are spectacular as is the sunrise if you can get up early enough?
Very quiet and secluded but without being isolated, small villages of Bargemon and Seillans within easy reach with some excellent bistros
Wildlife includes wild boar at night, eagles overhead and beautiful butterflies.
Modern contemporary villa, finished with a high standard, Ben, the management team looked after us well, would highly recommend a stay here.
