About Frejus:
Frejus an old roman town has not sufferd the accidents of History. Frejus has matured wisely and built up a rich architectural and cultural heritage of which is just proud. Here centuries come alive. Around the corner you may imagine a crowd of roman citizens entering the Arena or laughing in the roman Theatre A little further one of France`s oldest baptisteries, perfectly preserved. You can see the nearby Cathedral a beautiful example of Provencal and gothic architecture.
The nearby Area:
The Maures: big mountain behind - and the coastline in front. That is were yoy will find St.Aygulf. You will find sandy beaches on the edge of the river Argents. In front of the city you will find small pebbly buys. But here you will never find the big filmstars ;only familys.
Roquebrune-sur-Argents 11 km from the sea. A historical Medieval town.
St.Maxim a hectic little town on the sea side. Lot of cafees and nice restaurants. The little waterside town stands at one tip of the golf de St.Tropz.
The ferry to St.Tropez or Cannes is going from the little port in St.Aygulf or St.Maxime..
