You will fall in love with 'Les Cyprès' in its tranquil setting. The only thing you hear from here, is the sound of crickets and nature. It's a little corner of Paradise! At 'Les Cyprès', you really do whatever you want : enjoy a good book by the pool, take a walk in the beautifull nature, make a bicycle tour along the beautifull Provence hills, visit one of the numerous beautifull villages, make a day excursion to the 'gorges du Verdon' or the 'côte d'Azur' which are just an hour away or ... just do nothing.
From 1st May to 31st september, the pool is heated by heat pump a minimum of 25°C.
You can easily go to the village for your croissants and baguettes. Cotignac is a beautifull village with different good shops (bakeries, butcher, ...etc) to buy your daily groceries. Every day, you can find a market in the neighbourhood where you can buy several Provence specialities, fresh vegetables, cheeses, salami, ...
In Carcès is a great supermarket with a superbe meat and fish department
If you feel a little more energetic there are plenty of walks from the house, and you can explore the surrounding tracks and paths, either on foot, or by bicycle. In the spring the wild flowers are glorious!
The village has a bouledrome, tennis courts, a fitness trail, and a children's playground.
There is horse riding, fishing, sailing, kayaking, climbing, diving, & golf all within a short car ride away. There are wine tastings at the local domains, & evening feasts & dancing in Cotignac & the local villages. Cotignac market on a Tuesday morning is a must, & each of the surrounding villages has its market day. If this is not enough the beaches and nightlife of the Cote d'Azur are 75 minutes away.
The Var has 12 championship golf courses, including Nans les Pins, La Motte, and others, 45 minutes away.
Probably the best is Barbaroux, at Brignoles, only 25 minutes away. This area is also a paradise for bikers, on- or off-road, the possibilities are unlimited.
The village has a tourist office which is full of information on local events and further afield. There is WiFi connection at the Office de Tourisme. Inside the house is a list of local restaurants-gourmet to pizza, and maps and guidebooks.
The cottage is officially registered with the ' Office de Tourisme de Cotignac' and the 'Syndicat Mixte du Pays de la Provence Verte'.
