Cotignac in Provence Verte near the Canyon of Verdon is a village Caractère of 2000 inhabitants, built at the foot of a magnificent tuff rock.During your walk, you will discover all the richness of the heritage of Cotignac. The main street Cours Gambetta, typical provençal with plane trees, two fountains and the wash house, from the XIXth century, entirely retored. This open air theatre, other fountains (17),the campanile, from the XVth century, remains of the old olive oil mill, following the promenade du Rocher (rock tour), you will arrive at the foot of the rock where you could visit the caves. Chapel of St Martin, from the IVth century, the provençal Romanesque church, built in 1266,Sanctuary of Ntre Dame de Grâces where Louis XIV came in 1660.Monastery of St Joseph.
