Cotignac is considered one of the prettiest villages in Provence. It is full of local character in one of the most beautiful areas in France. Mostly forested with vineyards and olive groves. It is handy for seeing the rest of the area being within an hour and a half drive of Aix en Provence, a little further to Avignon, Arles, the Camargue, in the other direction the Alpes, Italy, Monaco and of course the Mediterranean.

Cotignac is a pretty, lively village in the centre of the Var. One hour from the Mediterranean and the St. Tropez. Close to Aix en Provence and the Gorge du Verdon. Two hours from the ski slopes in the Alpes. The walking and cycling are wonderful. There is golf, water sports and riding nearby.

Loved the house, it was comfortable and well maintained. Cotignac is a super village and we loved the restaurant La Terrace. Lots to recommend the area, we shall certainly be back. Sue and Geoff.
