Bagnols-en-Foret holiday house: Bagnols-en-Foret

This is a delightful property situated in a quiet location, a couple of kilometres from Bagnols-en-Foret. It was clean, comfortable and homely, and very well equipped throughout.

The large swimming pool is just a matter of yards from the house, with plenty of comfortable sun loungers provided, and the surrounding trees and a large gazebo offer areas of welcome shade.

There is a large covered seating area just outside the entrance to the house, and very convenient for the kitchen, which comfortably seats 10 people and is ideal for eating 'al fresco', This is a great facility.

There are some good restaurants close by and plenty of opportunities for wine tasting, and the beaches of St Aygulf and Frejus aren't far away if you want a trip to the sea. To be honest though, rather than battle with the inevitable crowds in mid-August, we tended to just enjoy ourselves at La Marjolaine, either in the pool or playing one of the many games provided by the owner, eg:boules or badminton.

This property really is an ideal choice for family groups looking for a relaxing holiday away from the crowds, having the privacy of such spacious grounds and the large swimming pool.

We went as a family of four generations, and found a large selection of suitable toys provided for the toddler in our midst and, at the other end of the spectrum, the availability of helpful equipment for the disabled.

The owner was so helpful in ensuring we had everthing we needed, and couldn't have done more to make our stay a very special one. When I asked my 80 year old mother if she was enjoying her holiday, she replied, " It's perfect! It's beyond my wildest dreams!"

Would I recommend it? Of course!!
